IMPORTANT INFORMATION Registration: When registering your child for a summer camp, please register using the child’s name (not the parent’s name). Register in-person at 909 Decker Dr., Baytown, call 281.425.6311 or visit www.lee.edu/kids. In This Issue Age requirements: Children must be the required age at the start date of the program. Creative Arts & Crafts 4 Missed classes: In the event a participant is unable to attend a class(es), Lee College regrets that make-up class(es) will not be offered. Cooking 7 Participants with special needs or allergies: Please call 281.425.6311 before registering a child with special needs or any allergies for a summer camp. Extended Care 10 Payment: Full payment of program fee must be made at the time of registration. Fun for Families 9 Cancellations: Lee College reserves the right to cancel any program due to low enrollment or for unforeseen circumstances. A full refund will be issued. Gaming 5 Wait-List: If a program is full, you may request to add your child’s name to the waiting list. Registration fees do no apply for waiting line spots. Special Interest 7 Withdrawals: No refunds will be provided/issued after a class begins. Complete processing of refunds can take up to four weeks, depending on payment type. In Support of a Safe Summer Camp: Technology 8 Lee College reserves the right to expel any child in violation of unacceptable behavior from any Kids at College Summer Camp Program. This includes, but is not limited to: possession of weapons, sexual harassment, sexual assault, throwing of articles in an aggressive manner, attempts to incite violence, abusive or disrespectful language, obscene gestures, racial or ethnic remarks, destruction for campus property and the property of others, possession or under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, misuse of emergency exits, not abiding by rules and regulations or refusal to leave when directed to do so by the staff. Expulsion results in a forfeit of registration fees and no refund will be issued. Creative Arts & Crafts Art Extreme Camp Creative Arts & Crafts Camp This camp is considered a "Make It and Take It" art experience. Sports Basketball Camp This camp is designed to improve your skills through individual instruction and game competition. Emphasis will be placed on shooting techniques, fundamentals, and team-building. Girls and boys will learn how to play the game under the instruction of the Lee College basketball coach and players. She assisted Blinn College to a 24-9 finish while placing first in the conference and fourth in the region. During her first season at Lee College, the Lady Rebels finished 10-13 overall and 4-4 in conference play, clinching a spot in the post season, Region IX Conference Volleyball Tournament. The Lady Rebels showed much success with six players earning All-Conference Honors. “I'm extremely excited for the opportunity to be the Head Volleyball Coach at Lee College. Special Interest Basic Reading Skills for Kids This study skills class is designed to help students improve their attitudes and thinking skills. The aim of this course is to help students improve their textbook study strategies and reading comprehension. Students will learn how to improve vocabulary and basic reading techniques. Students will also learn to identify important points in classroom lectures along with note taking strategies for increasing the quality of their notes.
