5/18/2021 What is IPV? • Domestic (or intimate partner) violence describes a pattern of abusive behavior that allows one partner to gain or maintain power and control over the other. • Any behavior within an intimate relationship that causes physical, psychological or sexual harm to those in the relationship, including acts of physical aggression, sexual coercion, psychological abuse and controlling behaviors. 13 WARNING SIGNS 14 7
