the bottle tree BULLETIN MARANOA REGION COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER March 2021 | Issue 125 In this month’s edition… Celebrating our Australia Day Arts News Maranoa Innovation Network Award Winners Yuleba Murals Up For Consultation At a community mee-ng to discuss the site for the new bore, pump sta-on and the water tank on the corner of Perry Street and Garden Street, Maranoa Regional Councillors suggested that the new site could be enhanced by murals. At the Yuleba Development Group Mee-ng recently there was discussion about where the murals could be painted. This including the op-ons of the tank, the pump house or erec-on of a special fence on the Garden and Perry Street sides for the Murals to be much larger and con-nuous. Maranoa Regional Council has advised that feedback from the Yuleba Community is being sought about pain-ng murals in Yuleba. “Have Your Say” will be open on the Council website for comment in the week commencing 22 February 2021. Ques-onnaires, with the same ques-ons as “Have Your Say” will be distributed to you through the mail in Yuleba, also in the week commencing 22 February 2021. Would you like to see a mural painted on the new bore/water tanks and pumping sta-on facility? If you do, what would you like to see depicted in the mural? A community mee-ng is expected to be held on 31 March 2021 at the Yuleba Memorial Hall to discuss the results of the ques-onnaires and reach a consensus. Mee-ng to commence at 5.30pm with light refreshments provided. 1
