Refund of Entry Fees
 Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by
 the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the
 show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.

Class 1 - 09:00 - Main Indoor Arena - Senior Newcomers – First Round /1.10m Open
Rule 312. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.10m. DRAWN ORDER
 In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in
 pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld.
 Rule - 76.6
 Newcomers:
 (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in
 accordance with rule 312.6
 (b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2016, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear
 qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers
 Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6.

 Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st June - 31st May
 inclusive.
 1.10m Open:
 For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
 If scheduled in a Category 3 show, there will be two separate sets of placings, one for the First Round and one for the
 Open section.
 Prizes: 1st: £150.00, 2nd: £100.00, 3rd: £75.00, 4th: £50.00, 5th: £30.00, 6th: £26.00, 7th: £26.00, 8th: £26.00, Total:

 Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
 (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points. Four double clears will qualify - in
 accordance with rule 310.6
 (b) For all registered horses born on or after 1 January 2015, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double
 clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar
 year as the Foxhunter Final - in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify.
 Qualifies for: The Senior Foxhunter Second Round.
 Qualifying period: The Senior Foxhunter Second Round qualifying period for 2021/2022 (2022 second rounds and
 finals) is 1 May '21 - 30 April '22 inclusive. The Senior Foxhunter Second Round qualifying period for 2022/2023 (2023
 second rounds and finals) is 1 May '22 – 30 April '23 (subject to revision).
 Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jump-
 off, in at least four Senior Foxhunter First Round competitions in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in a
 Second Round, irrespective of their placings for prize money. Horses in the class must go into the jump off and go
 clear to gain its double clear round qualification.
 Those horses that have competed in the Senior Foxhunter Championship in 2021 are not eligible for qualification to
 the 2022 Championship.

 the line. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Equitop GLME Senior Foxhunter second round. (Age
 rule applies)
 Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 310 all 7yr old horses are now eligible regardless of
 points won, but to qualify the horse must be 7yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2022. Therefore any horses which are
 7yrs old from 1st September 2021 to 31st December 2021 and have won more than 700 points are unable to qualify
 in any qualifiers held from 1st September 2021 to 31st December 2021. Qualification does not pass down the line.

 For registered horses in Grades B&C to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior members.
 This is a handicap class, the Grade B start height is 1.30m and the Grade C start height is 1.25m.
 The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down
 the line. Qualified Grade C horses which upgrade after the qualification will compete in the Grade C section of the
 final. However, if they qualify again as a Grade B again, they will compete in the Grade B section of the final. There will
 be dual qualification of double clears for the National B&C Handicap Championship.
 Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

 only compete on two horses in the Final, qualification in accordance with Rule 290.17.

 member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships
 and Olympic Games are not eligible).
 For both:
 a) registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 Points,
 b) registered horses born on or after 1st January 2016, irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for
 qualification if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Winter Novice Championship
 final.
 Qualifies for: The SEIB Winter Novice Championship at the Royal International Horse Show. No competitor may ride
 more than two horses in the Final. Horses that are disregarded under Rule 506.6 that otherwise would have qualified
 may be substituted in the Final for horses already qualified by the same rider, subject to Rule 79.4.

 last qualifier at the Royal International Horse Show.
