CAPTAIN’S CORNER JACK EDWARDS Unfortunately I was unable to be involved in our superb win against the York City last weekend after picking up an injury in our draw against AFC Fylde, but it was fantastic to see the lads pick up another three points which has hoisted us into the top half of the table in the early stages of this strange season. There is no doubt that with us playing two games a week regularly that every member of the squad will be fully involved this season and my absence gave others the chance to step back in. All the lads put a great shift in against York and were rewarded for it. It is always nice to get a win against one of the big clubs in the division but everything will point we pick up is precious, and this evening‘s game against a Brackley side who are always up there vying for promotion will be just as tough. We always have good battles with them and the games are always close. We have tended to do better against them at home though so hopefully we can continue to do that this evening. Enjoy the game!
