CAPTAIN’S CORNER JACK EDWARDS We welcome Gateshead this afternoon in yet another home game for us. The last three have been fairly eventful in their own ways so I’m sure this one will be no different. Our visitors have made a good start to the season and will provide a big test for us if we are to keep our unbeaten run intact. We can take heart from the fact that we have taken points recently from three of the sides who are likely to be around the top of the table with them come the end of the season. Brackley turned out to be a frustrating game for us. We felt it was one we should have won given the number of good chances we had, but as the gaffer said afterwards, we have done similar to them in the past, and it shows how far we have come when we are disappointed with a draw against a side who have been close to promotion on several occasions over the last few years. I enjoyed the banter with my former Solihull Moors team mates anyway. Nobody has the bragging rights for now! Enjoy the game.
