This visit coincides with Nana’s Free Food Basket Inc. where you can collect free and low-cost groceries and stay for a hot meal. Drop by and check out the fantastic range of books available to borrow! Don’t have a library card? Bring your ID and you can sign up on the spot! New Group!! - Breast Cancer Support Group Fortnightly on Fridays commencing Friday 21 February, 10am to 12pm A very warm and friendly support group for women who have experienced breast cancer. The group openly share stories, experiences and always remember that even through the bad times, with friends who understand it is possible to laugh. Call 8408 1395 for further details. Little Buggers Club – Bugs Suck…! Saturday 29 February – 10am to 11.30am A lot of invertebrates get referred to as bugs, but which ones actually are? Here’s a clue; Bugs Suck! Find out more at the Little Buggers Club in February! Little Buggers provides hands on nature and invertebrate education for kids of all ages. No bookings necessary. Gold coin donation appreciated.
March Hearing Awareness Week - Free Hearing Checks Wednesday 4 March - 3pm to 5.30pm Drop in and learn about hearing health and receive a free check from Hearing Australia. Tax Help – Fridays, 9.15am to 2.15pm (July to October) Tax Help is a network of ATO-trained and accredited community volunteers who provide a few and confidential service to help people complete their tax returns. You are eligible for a one hour Tax Help session if your income is around $60,000 or less for the 2017-2018 financial year. By appointment only. Please call Reception on 8408 1395 to book.
