A PROGRESS REPORT From Chairman Danny Hunter Tonight we welcome our friends from Lincoln City to Meadow Park for this Vanarama National League encounter. May I wish their directors, manager, players and supporters a pleasant stay with us and a safe journey home. ER Before I sign off, I would just like to take this opportunity to welcome back Lee Angol to Meadow Park. Lee was instrumental in our success when we won promotion to the National League with 25 league goals to his name that season. He was the League’s top marksman and duly was recognised as Non-League Football’s Young Player of the Season before clinching his return to the Football League with Peterborough United. He has already hit the ground running at Lincoln with four goals in three games, including a hat trick on his debut against Danny’s former side Braintree. If Lee can continue that rich vein of form, I’m sure results and perhaps the league title will follow for Lincoln City. Anyway, back to tonight’s game, let’s hope for a positive performance and result. Hope you enjoy the game! Luke www.bwfctv.co.uk I @BOREHAM_WOODFC I www.borehamwoodfootballclub.co.UK I 11

MATCH REPORT SPONSORED BY RED ROCK ENTERTAINMENT The Wood went straight back at Guiseley as Davis won the ball and played it to Shakes whose run allowed him to get the ball to Andrade on the left hand side but his cross was deflected wide for a corner. A free kick to the Wood 10 yards out ended up at the feet of Davis on the edge of the box but his shot took a deflection and went wide for a Wood corner which Maxted came out to punch clear. There was a chance for Wood substitute Jason Williams with 15 minutes left as he cut inside before firing just over the bar with a powerful shot. Wood had several corners in the 7 minutes of injury time but could not find a winner and the game finished even. Wood certainly had the chances to win the game but they failed to make them count and that, along with a decision that could have gone either way but ended up against the Wood, frustrated the home side and the fans as the hosts probably deserved more than just a point.
