CAMP SILVER LAKE BERNON FAMILY BRANCH, FRANKLIN CAMP SILVER LAKE OPEN HOUSE Sunday, May 2 12:00pm – 2:00pm CANOEING, STAND-UP PADDLE BOARDS, SANDY BEACH, PLAYGROUND, SHADED LUNCH AREA, & FUN CAMP ACTIVITIES Camp Silver Lake is situated at the beautiful Silver Lake Park in Bellingham and is a Hockomock Area YMCA camp established in collaboration with the Town of Bellingham. SPORTS CAMPS SUPER SPORTS CAMP - GRADES 1 – 6 Campers will enjoy soccer, basketball, flag football, wiffle ball, SPECIALTY CAMPS kickball, dodgeball, and more. Campers will cool off daily in our swimming pool and learn each sport’s skills with friends while having fun. GYMNASTICS CAMPS PRE-SCHOOL CO-ED GYMNASTICS CAMP - AGES 3–5 SPECIALTY CAMPS Campers split by age will participate in flexibility and strength training, dance, swimming, and crafts. After lunch, campers will spend the afternoon doing gymnastics. Campers will end their week with a special Friday performance. SWIM CAMPS ENRICHMENT HALF DAY SWIM CAMP – AGES 5+ CAMPS SPECIALTY CAMPS This swim camp is run by our Aquatics staff and led by certified instructors. Each day will include a 2-hour swim lesson divided by swim level. Emphasis will be placed on safety around water, endurance, and stroke technique. THEATRE PRODUCTION CAMPS Throughout the course of the session, theatre camps work together to rehearse and preform a fully produced SPECIALTY CAMPS musical. We begin each day with a warm up and game, then spend mornings learning choreography, music and scenes. After lunch, campers have free-play outside. Our camp has weekly themes and each afternoon we enjoy a fun activity relating to that theme. Show titles and production specifics are TBD at this time pending Covid-19 restrictions. Past productions have included All Shook Up, Beauty and the Beast, High School Musical, Annie and more! STEM CAMPS SPECIALTY CAMPS ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY – GRADES 2–5 Engineering and Technology Camp will delve into the expansive world of engineering. Looking at mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering, the campers will engage in group brainstorming and lots of building. This camp is designed to allow the campers to be as hands on as possible and to physically do some building with a variety of materials. We will also incorporate how technology can help engineers by using WONDERFUL WORLD OF STEAM – GRADES K–1 tech such as 3D Printing. Come join us in this introductory to STEM and Art (STEAM) camp where we will experiment in each of STEAM’s disciplines of Science, *FOXBORO Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
