Hello and welcome to our new Summer season brochure. We’ve made some great new friends this year, and we want everyone to feel welcome and part of the Coro this Autumn. We’ve developed a hands-on event UlverSTEM to bring education and employers together looking at our young population’s opportunities in our fabulous town. There’s lots of lively fun from the Forbidden Nights boys, a fabulous tribute to Eric & Ern, and the Circus of Horrors bring their brand new show to our stage. Comedy continues with Chris Ramsey, hilarious American Rich Hall and our locally produced Friday Night Live! It’s ‘Girl Power’ as the Spice Girls Show comes to town and the Russian Ballet perform the brilliant Swan Lake. Events for the smaller folk are on too, MEGASLAM Wrestling returns, Joe Purdy has not one but two shows, there’s Disgusting Songs for Revolting Children (enjoyed by adults too!) and for the really small folk we have a beautiful performance LUNA. The ladies of LipService return to help us giggle and a brand-new show from Sonya Moorby Feral asks questions of our wild side. Christmas! There’s a jolly Buddy Holly tribute, Santa’s Party show, Christmas Market and festive events, Carols at the Coro, UVHS show, Let’s Dance and Houghton Weavers. There are three local company performances from Ulverston Amateur & Operatic Society, Ulverston Outsiders and Ulverston Pantomime Society. All this in addition to our usual community events, coffee mornings, bingo, bowling, Country Market, U3A classes and Bym Bam. We have included a more comprehensive list of events in the centre pages of the programme.
