AUSTRALIA DAY 2021 Sydney Harbour will come alive this Australia Day as large crowds gather around Circular Quay, Dawes Point, The Rocks and other vantage points to witness the activities on and above the water. HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: FERRYTHON (10.45AM–11.30AM) See our beloved ferries in this hugely popular Australia Day tradition, as they voyage from Barangaroo Wharf to Shark Island and then back to a glorious finish at the Sydney Harbour Bridge. SALUTE TO AUSTRALIA (11.30AM–12.05PM) The Australian Army, Royal Australian Navy and AUSTRALIA DAY ON Royal Australian Air Force combine to deliver a stirring military ceremony. The event features SYDNEY HARBOUR HMAS Canberra on the water, a 21-gun salute on land and RAAF fast jets flying in formation We invite everyone to come 10.45am–11.30am Ferrython above Sydney Harbour. AUSTRALIA DAY 2021 As Australia Day commemorates the arrival of the First Fleet at Sydney Cove, New South Wales in 1788 Sydney Harbour is the focus point for celebrations! WHAT TO EXPECT (times may change slightly) • 10:15am - Your All Occasion Cruises vessel will arrive at the wharf for you to commence boarding. • 10:45am - Head to the outer decks for the Ferrython-Sydney’s beloved old gals, the four little green and yellow catamarans, will once again line up for one of Australia’s most iconic events. Join us and cheer on your favourite ferry as they power down the Harbour and back to the finish line underneath Sydney Harbour Bridge. • 11:30am - Our Australian influenced buffet lunch is served. • 11:45pm - Listen carefully as the Australian Defence Force fire a 21 gun salute. • 12:15pm - Sweets, tea, and coffee are available from our buffet stations. • 1:15pm - F/A-18 Hornet flyover. You'll hear the Royal Australian Air Force’s F/A-18. • 1:35pm - Arriving back at King Street wharf we wish you a very Happy Australia Day and bid you farewell.
