Napier - Round 4 Welcome to Round 4 of the NZ Offshore Powerboat Championship in Napier city. Napier is a thriving seaside town and known worldwide as the Art Deco Capital, vibrant café culture as well as antique shops, art galleries, and plenty of boutique stores. BOAT PARKING AND LAUNCHING OF BOATS This is in the Napier Sailing Club Carpark. For those boats that require lifting the crane will be set up in the car park at the Sailing Club. Please remember that everyone must wear hard hats while lifting. If at all possible when teams arrive could they display their boats around the town See map below. **SPECIAL DUNK TEST** As there will be a number of Canopy boats appearing later in the season, Participants in these need to complete a Driver Immersion test. As a result of this, we have arranged a special Dunk Test in Napier. This will be on Friday afternoon by the ramp. Contact Denise 0272503504 to book. This will be the last opportunity to complete this test this season. MEET AND GREET - FRIDAY 15TH MARCH 2018 Meet and Greet will be at the Napier Sailing Club at 6.30pm. The Food Company will be catering this. The menu will be sent out during the during the week. ENTRIES - REGISTRATION Day entries and Day Licences - Please help the Bus people by bringing your Day Entries Printed out and filled in. Day entries boats to be pre-race checked by Phil Mudford. Championship boats please bring your Pre-race Scrutineering forms marked off to Registration prior to Briefing time. Registration will be at the race Bus Saturday morning; from 8.00am. SET UP OF TEAM TENTS Tents and Marquees will be allocated on the grassed area in front of the Sailing club, we ask that you please share as space is limited. Best viewing of the race is from Perfume Point. PRIZEGIVING AT NAPIER SAILING CLUB Prizegiving will start 6.30pm with a dinner available from 7pm onwards.
