3 INTRODUCTION The Asatizah Training Credits (ATC) was announced in 2020 To encourage further development amongst asatizah while complementing national efforts on upskilling especially Implications during the COVID-19 outbreak period. of COVID-19 Each asatizah will be given $200 worth of credits to offset the cost of CPE courses after the SkillsFuture subsidy. The More support credits expire on 31 December 2021 and the list of courses for skills and dates will be updated quarterly training The skillsets are extracted from 1 the Asatizah Career & Competency Framework (CCF) and are useful for all Priority groups of asatizah to build resilience and adapt to COVID- skillsets 19. identified 1 The Career & Competency Framework (CCF) for Asatizah was launched in April 2020. Group Registration Guide 26 MENDAKI SENSE Step 1: Course Registration Employers are required to fill the Course Application Form (Corporate). Please company click here to be directed to the form. Step 2: Download Template for Employee Details When you reach Part E: Employee Details of the Course Application Form (Corporate), please follow the steps stated in the form to complete Employee Details, they are: 1. Download Template for Employee Details 2. Complete the column highlighted in BLUE, Sheet: Body Template 3. Save the Excel File and upload the template. Step 3: Payment Process After completion of course, an invoice will be sent to the employers. A credit term of 30 days will be given and employers may select any one of the following payment modes: 1. Interbank GIRO / Bank Transfer 2. Cheque 3. Group Registration Guide 27 NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC Step 1: Course Registration Employers may visit Ngee Ann Polytechnic - Social Media Marketing (ATC Eligible) to register. Registration closes 14 days prior to the course commencement. You may refer to the form for the course schedule. Step 2: Download Template for Employee Details Select Group (Company-Sponsorship) at Question 1. Download and complete the Company- Sponsored Bulk Registration form. Once completed, submit the file at Question 2. Step 3: Confirmation Email and Invoice Participants will receive a confirmation email from the training provider prior to the commencement date. After completion of course, an invoice will be sent to the employers. A credit term of 30 days will be given to complete payment.
Group Registration Guide 28 REPUBLIC POLYTECHNIC Step 1: Create a Company Account Employers are required to create a company account on RP’s system prior to course application, please click here for the Company Sponsorship Form. If your company is a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), please download and complete the SME Declaration Form and upload the form during the Company Sponsorship Form submission. Step 2: Course Registration - Download Template for Employee Details Once the company account is created (within 3 working days), you will receive an email with link from ACE @ RP. You may then proceed to apply for your course online via Republic Polytechnic Courses - Group Registration (Company-Sponsorship) form. Select Yes for Question 1 then download and complete the Ace Bulk Upload file. Attach the completed file in Question 2. Step 3: Confirmation Email & Payment Employers need to finalise the participants 2 weeks prior to course start date. A confirmation email will be sent to the confirmed participants. For payment, employers are required to make the payment before course commencement. You may select any one of the following payment modes: 1. Electronic funds transfer 2. Corporate PayNow

F R EQ U E N T LY - ASKED QUESTIONS ASATIZAH TRAINING CREDITS
For Individual (Self-Sponsorship) 33 FAQ 1. Who is eligible to receive the Asatizah Training Credits (ATC)? Answer: All Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident ARS-certified individual are eligible to receive the $200 Asatizah Training Credits. It will be automatically credited to our system. The training credits can only be used for the identified skill courses. 2. Do the Asatizah Training Credits have an expiry date? Answer: Asatizah Training Credits are valid till 31 Dec 2021.This means that the date of the last course attended cannot be later than 31 Dec 2021. Unutilised credits cannot be rolled over to the following year nor converted to cash. 3. I want to register for one of the courses and use the Asatizah Training Credits to pay for the course. How can I do that? Do I have to pay any monies upfront? Answer: Asatizah need not pay the net course fee upfront. The payment of the net course fee will be deducted from the asatizah’s training credits disbursed by Muis. This can be done by selecting Asatizah Training Credits in the Payment Mode on the registration page*. In the case where asatizah have fully utilized the ATC, please refer to Question 4. *This only applies to Mendaki SENSE registration form. 4. I have fully utilized my ATC, but I am still interested to enrol for the other courses listed. Can I do that? Answer: Yes, however, please be informed that you would be required to bear the net payable fee at your own cost. You may also submit a claim to obtain the respective CPE credit hours upon successful completion of the course.
For Individual (Self-Sponsorship) 34 FAQ 5. I am below 25 years old, what are the important information I should take note of? Answer: For asatizah below 25 years old, please be reminded that you may not yet be eligible to receive SkillsFuture Credits. Therefore, should your ATC be fully utilised, you would be required to bear the net payable fee at your own cost. For asatizah below 21 years old, please be informed that you may not yet be eligible for SkillsFuture Funding (subsidy). Therefore, you would be charged the Full Course Fee. You would also be required to bear the balance, after offsetting your ATC, at your own cost.
For Group (Company-Sponsorship) 35 FAQ 1. Why does my company have to pay the nett course fee upfront to the training providers? Answer: This is part of the condition to enable the employer to claim the Absentee Payroll benefits from SSG which requires the employer to pay the nett course fee (after SSG subsidy) to the training providers. The employers may then claim the nett course fee from the asatizah’s training credits disbursed by Muis. 2. Some asatizah employed by my organisation had attended one of the courses on Muis’ priority list of competencies published earlier. Can my organisation claim the training credit for that course now? Answer: Yes. You can claim for the training credit if your training date falls on or after 1 Aug 2020. For details, please contact atc@mmwss.sg. 3. When will my company get reimbursement for the nett course fees made upfront to the course providers? Answer: Muis will reimburse the nett course fees to your organisation within 3 weeks from the date of the date of the invoice receipt. 4. As an employer, can I register my employees for the training courses in the Priority Training List as a group? Answer: Yes, that is possible. 5. What happens if the ATC balance of an asatizah under my employment is insufficient to cover the nett course fee? Answer: The employer can choose to either sponsor or ask the asatizah to consider using their SkillsFuture Credit to cover the outstanding amount instead of using the ATC. Alternatively, the asatizah may want to pay the outstanding amount out of their own pocket.
For Employers Sponsored 36 FAQ 6. Can I as an employer register my non-asatizah employees for these courses? Answer: Yes, you can do so although priority may be given to asatizah if the course places are limited. While these non-asatizah employees are not eligible for the ATC, you may still later claim the AP for them. 7. What if I want to register my employees for these courses but cannot find a suitable date? Answer: Please contact Muis helpline at atc@mmwss.sg to get advice on the next suitable dates. If there is a strong demand for a course, new dates may be opened up, subject to discussion with the training provider. Please contact atc@mmwss.sg for any queries on the ATC.
