BAIKAL-GVD ● Deep underwater neutrino Cherenkov telescope looking for high energy neutrinos from astrophysical sources ● IFJ, 4 members, (2 FTE+1 student) ● Activities: data analysis, simulations, development of the acquisition software, R&D of the laser calibration system, and participation in tests and construction of the telescope.
Gravitational waves ● Virgo ● Einstein Telescope
VIRGO ● Gravitational wave observatory near Pisa Italy. ● IM, UW, CAMK, UwB, UZG, UWr, AGH ● Engineer on site, vacuum pumps. Seismic data acquisition system. Data analysis and simulations ● Funding: 5.6MPLN since 2010 form NCN, currently investment grant 4.3MPLN, and FNP program on Newtonian Noise 3.5 M PLN

Summary ● Astroparticle physics is alive and well ● There is shift towards consolidating efforts to join new big flagship experiments, rather than maintain scattered presence ● With AstroCeNT the level of funding for the field has dramatically increased, and gives potential and good prospects for much more ● There is a number of theoretical studies not covered here as well.
