Page 4 Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord In our Parish Happy Easter, Christ is Risen! Today we remember that Jesus is alive and among us. When Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected it forever changed the state of humanity. We are no longer tied to sin, “just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life.” (cf. Romans 6:4) What newness of life is God calling you to? Below are pictures from our service project: making fleece blankets for the homeless, which will be donated to the St. Francis Center in Detroit. Thank you to everyone who donated material to make this a successful project for our Faith Formation children.
