Lodging online is quick and easy!
If you’ve never lodged your Annual Land and Stock Return
online, now’s a good time to start!
From 30 June, our dedicated Annual Land and Stock Return
portal will be open and we encourage you to lodge your
return online.

Lodging online helps:
• reduce contact with paper forms
• saves on post or a trip to the office
• build your digital confidence
• ensure your form is received by the 31 August deadline.

The online return asks the same questions as the paper
form and only takes a couple of minutes.

Here’s how you do it:
1. Look up your holding reference number and unique
online password in the top right hand corner of the
paper form enclosed with this newsletter
2. Visit our website at www.lls.nsw.gov.au/alsr It will look
   something like this
3. Login and fill in your land and stock details as at
30 June. If you are having difficulty lodging your
return, please call us on 1300 795 299.

Online not for you?
That’s okay, here’s how you can mail it back.
You can post your completed return to:

Have you got a P I C ?
All landowners who run livestock on their property, or keep livestock as pets, have a legal obligation to have a
Property Identification Code (PIC) registered on their property.
PICs are vital during emergency events such as fire or flood as they help our team prioritise and target on-ground
assistance to those impacted or in immediate danger. They are also vital in the event of a biosecurity emergency
such as an animal disease outbreak as they improve traceability back to specific properties, allowing for a quick
and effective response to the emergency.
By completing your return accurately it allows our team to help you during emergencies and get back to business
faster when disaster happens. To find out more or apply for a PIC, visit www.lls.nsw.gov.au/pics
