1. Membership number, pre-registration and final registration
a. Membership number
Athletes wishing to participate in the competition must be a member in good
standing of the APQ:
You must apply online to become an APQ member
The cost of the membership number is $ 103.30 per year (taxes included). The
assigned number is valid from January 1 to December 31 of the current year.
Membership fees must be paid online at the time of submission. If you do not
complete the PayPal transaction, your form is considered incomplete and will be
automatically deleted.
It is not necessary to have a PayPal account to send the payment, see the
link how to pay with Paypal
Your membership number will then be emailed to you within 72 hours of your
online membership.
2. Pre-registration online
Athlete wishing to participate in the competition must:
i. Have a main residence in Quebec. You may be asked for proof of
residence. Accepted documents are:
ii. Driver's license;
iii. A copy of your lease or the deed of purchase of your residence bearing
your identity and address;
iv. A copy of a telephone, electricity or cable bill, a municipal or school tax
bill bearing your identity and address dated 2018;
v. A copy of a correspondence with an educational institute or one of the
levels of government (municipal, provincial or federal) bearing your
identity and address dated 2018.
b. Complete and submit the pre-registration form online by September 7,
2018 to avoid a late registration fee.** It will be possible to complete your pre-registration form after this date, but a
late registration fee of $ 100 will be added to your bill. Please note, however,
that no registration will be accepted after the closing of the final registration,
which will be Friday, September 14 at 5:00 pm unless authorized by an official at
the registration desk or by contacting Benoit Brodeur at 450-521- 7020 before
the hour.
c. Participation fees :
i. You can pay the registration fees:
1. Online via PayPal (a $ 5.94 fee will apply) or;
2. In cash at the final registration;
$ 180.00 (taxes included) for your first category choice;
$ 100 (taxes included) additional for the choice of a second category;
$ 50 Doping test fee, if registered in the André Maillé Classic
*** $ 100 penalty fee upon late registration
3. Music
Send your music by email to: music@apquebec.com before September 7, 2018.
The music must be in MP3 format only that you will insert as an
attachment (no CD or USB stick will be accepted) ;
A maximum of 60 seconds Women’s Physique, Classics and Bodybuilders
A maximum of 90 seconds for Fitness
ZERO tolerance for blasphemy or inappropriate content
Instructions :
Your MP3 file should have your first and last name followed by the bottom bar
with no space, the place of departure and the category, just like the example
below :

* Note that the music file will be read from the beginning of the frame. If your piece
needs to be edited for your choreography, you must do it before sending it to us.
Upon receipt of your email, your file will be checked and you will receive a
confirmation of receipt. You will be able to make a last check during your
registration to indicate the number of your macaron.
4. Final registration
Final registration will take place Friday, September 14 from 12:00 to 17:00 at the
Ramada Plaza Casino Manor,
75 Edmonton Street, Gatineau (Hull sector), J8Y 6W9.
* First come first served, there is no specific scheduled time (just ensure to have
completed your final registration before 17:00.);
All athletes, without exception, will have to show up at the registration table
with:
your trunks, bikini, shoes and/or competition shorts to have them
validated by an official;
An identity card;
Proof of registration and payment as the case may be;
You must be measured and weighed, you must wear
your competition gear.
***If you do not meet the weight requirement, you will be given 30 minutes to
regulate your weight.
Mandatory meeting :
There is no mandatory meeting, guidelines and information will be handed out at the
final registration.

Schedule
The André Maillé Classic and the Outaouais Open will be held in one stage
respectively. Prejudgment followed by the final.
Athletes will be called by categories, they will perform the mandatory poses and
comparisons and then present their show or choreography. At the end of each category,
there will be an awards ceremony.
The instructions will be communicated in the document that will be given to you during
registration.

depending on the number of athletes registered, a category may become an

7. Regulations
It is very important to know the rules and understand them before participating
at a competition.

8. Backstage and Passes
Allowed backstage:
a. athletes entered in the championship;
b. coaches "members" in good standing of the APQ and who procured a
backstage bracelet - cost : $ 50
The coaches can buy the backstage bracelet at the final registration in the
amount of $ 50. A coach who cannot attend can, if he is a member in good
standing, delegate a third party to buy it on his behalf.
Note that the backstage bracelet does not give access to the theater.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All coaches must complete their member dossier to the
DPA. They musts have paid their membership fees and purchased the backstagebracelet before 17:00 on the day of final registration (Friday, September 14),
2018.
No backstage bracelet will be sold after the registration closes. Coaches without
backstage bracelets will be denied backstage access during the championship.
9. Hair, Makeup and Tan Spray
It should be noted that the hair, makeup and spray tan services are
exclusive. Only professionals accredited by the APQ can do the work on site (at
the hotel or at the theater).

plan something for your touch-ups during the day.

Team Ultra Tan
The team offers a range of professional services such as: the application of the
tanning, the day of the tanning they will make your retouches, the application of
the Glaze, and will secure your jersey with the jersey glue. They can also do the

Bella Bikini is the official designer chosen by the APQ for designing trunks and
bikinis for competitions.
The team will be present at the final registration for final adjustments .
