Lord Mayor’s Message ART. CULTURE. Perth will light up this winter with an amazing program of events, installations and performances. Our annual winter festival begins on Saturday 3 July and runs for three weeks, showcasing Perth in all its wintertime glory. Employing the theme of ‘Perth by Light’ where you can experience a myriad of light themed EVENTS. events and installations as well as cultural performances and activities. Start your journey at Supreme Court Gardens to see 1.8, a large-scale temporary installation that is incredibly impressive during the day and by night features an amazing custom projected light show. Then soak up a winter wonderland at The Winter Village at the Ice Cream Factory with ice skating, an igloo village and daily snow showers. Then head to Forrest Chase where DayDream – a celebration of light and sound – will take your breath away as you lose yourself in the ultimate immersive daydream.
