July/August/September 2019 Volume 30 Issue 3 New City Website Available Now Our website (www.dbshores.org) has been redesigned with a focus on usability and quick access to the information that matters. Discover the most commonly looked for pages with the new “How Do I...” Menu or use the search bar which has been added to every page. Sign up for notifications for City Events, Meetings, Newsletters, or Emergency Alerts to be sent to Email or your phone. Easily connect with Elected Officials or City Employees. Residents can also now check out the new Meetings and Agendas page! The Website was launched at the end of May. A new feature on the website is a “Notify Me” section. One can select from many subject areas to receive email or text notifications. See below for an illustration of the “Notify Me” tab. Please Note: Under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to the City. Instead, contact the City by phone or in writing for further assistance. If receipt of unwanted emails are a concern, perhaps contacting an IT professional would be of assistance.
