Algarve Nature Week Experiences Cycling Outings Formosamar Cycle Outing in the Ria Formosa (3h) If you're in the Algarve, one of the things you can do is a bike ride by the Ria Formosa. This is a guided tour by bike, starting in Faro, visiting the salt flats and Ilha do Faro island. On this bike tour we ride along part of the coastal ‘Ecovia’, a cycle route for lovers of cycling and nature that runs along the Algarve coast and beaches. MegaSport Bike Tour Ria Formosa Natural Park Ria Formosa is one of the Seven Nature Wonders Of Portugal. This Natural Reservation is the habitat for many species of birds and other animals. You’ve the opportunity to observe the beautiful wild life of Ria Formosa in our tour and enjoy a pleasant ride of bicycle from the 11th to the 19th of April. It features mostly flat terrain and is easily crossed with the support of the guide. This Tour starts in Faro (in the Garden Manuel Bivar or at Ribeirinho Park) and it’s doable for everyone. Venue: Faro Price: 25€/pax Cycle Trip along the Ecovia Litoral do Algarve (Algarve Coastal Ecovia) The ecovia is a great route that runs along the Algarve coastline (from the Cape de St. Vicent in Sagres, until near the River Guadiana, in Vila Real de Santo António) allowing you to visit many of the coastal towns and cities in the Algarve and also trace various paths of nature. The terrain is mostly flat with an average of one / two medium ascents per day. With an average of 40 km per day, the routes are easily crossed with the support of the guide.
