Issue 19, June 2020 Mindfulness As the number of COVID-19 cases grow across the globe, stress and anxiety has risen, so we have included a couple of activities to keep you occupied. Enjoy! THANK YOU Over the last seven weeks we’ve received so much support and praise from everybody, from messages on social media to gifts and donations. Thank you to you all. Thank you to relatives and friends who have sent us cards, treats and flowers to staff and residents across the group, they have put a smile on everyone’s faces and brightened up their days. Thank you to Ripley St Thomas Academy and Bay Leadership Academy for sending us visors you made in preparation for us to fight against COVID-19. Thank you to Care Home Life for the individual lunch boxes you put together for every single member of staff, Gizmos for sending in Pizzas, Marks and Spencers and Costa at Moto Services for the Easter treats and snacks, the University of Cumbria for making and sending us wash bags, head bands and hats, Anya Rose from the Cardiff Royal Welsh conservatoire for entertaining our residents and all the local children for their handmade cards and good wishes.
