Dear Parents and Guardians, Thank you for considering Garden International School, Bangkok as the place to help your child grow academically, socially and emotionally. At the heart of everything we do is the learning experience we offer our students. Our students are given a personalised education, which is based on British education models, but adapted to suit our location and student’s needs. Garden International School, Bangkok is located in the heart of Bangkok, just a few minutes from both the MRT and BTS transport systems, as well as Lumpini Park. Garden International School Bangkok Joining school mid-term If a child begins within the first two weeks, the full term's fee will be charged. Children starting from the third week will be charged a daily fee as detailed below. If the fees calculated on daily rate is higher than full term’s fee, we will charge the full term’s fee. The daily fees do not include the cost of meals and swimming lessons which will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. Refund policy 90% of the tuition fee paid is refundable if withdrawal is done before school starts. Force majeure Where school closure is required, whether by Government directive or by force majeure, no refund on fees shall be provided. If the school is closed, every effort will be made to provide online learning wherever possible. The School Executive Board (SEB) will consider possible options for making up the number of educational days if this falls below 175 in any school year. Days where online instruction is provided shall be considered as part of the 175 educational days. 7

Garden International School Bangkok Students with Special Needs • If the school, in consultation with the parents, considers it has the capacity to contribute meaningfully to the progress of the student, and there are no disadvantages to other students, then such students will be welcomed. • Parents should be aware that the school site covers a wide area with buildings of more than one storey and without elevators. Students with physical disabilities will be admitted if their disability allows them to access all learning areas of the building safely, and access the curriculum, without detriment to their or others’ learning. • In some circumstances a one-to-one teaching assistant or additional special needs support may be required. This would be at parental expense. • Should it be determined once a student has been accepted that their needs and provision are beyond the scope that the school can offer, their continued enrolment will be at the discretion of the Head of Phase and Principal. Garden International School Bangkok Location Garden International School, Bangkok is set in a pleasant, residential area of Bangkok. It is very conveniently situated in a central location between Sathorn Road and Rama IV Road and near to Lumpinee MRT. The First School for Early Years to Year 1 is set in houses on Yen Akart Soi 2, with an extensive garden shaded by mature trees to play under. The garden includes a large sandpit, slides, climbing frame and swings as well as a covered, heated salt water swimming pool. Year 2 to 12 are housed in spacious, purposefully converted houses across the road from Soi 2, at 34/4 Yen Akart Road. This site includes an adventure playground, running track and a sports pitch for football and basketball. There are also quiet, tree shaded areas and an aquatic nature ecosystem.
