New Year’s Eve Access To enhance the New Year’s Eve experience for Sea Island Club members, guests of Club members, and Resort Guests, access to all Sea Island New Year’s Eve celebrations will only be available to wristband holders and those with dining reservations. IDs will be checked at all access points. Special Event weather policy Events denoted with I are outdoor events and will remain in the listed location, unless inclement weather arises. New Year’s Eve Attire Wondering what to wear to your New Year’s Eve event? Please refer to page 6 for the New Year’s Eve dress code. General Resort Dress Code can be found on page 18. Ongoing Offerings Topgolf Swing Suite at The Inn, daily, 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Play golf-oriented games as well as Baseball Pitching, Soccer, Hockey Shots, Quarterback Challenge, Zombie Dodgeball, and Carnival Games. Play is first-come, first-served (no reservations). $45/half hour, $75/hour for up to 8 people. Small bites and cocktails for purchase, 5-10 p.m. s New Year’s Tennis Sale, Wednesday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.–Take advantage of deals fit for a new year in The Cloister Tennis Shop. Select apparel and equipment will be 25% off. s Special Events – Tuesday, December 28 – Bingo at the Beach Club, 5:30 p.m.––Card sales begin at 4:30 p.m. and promptly end at 5:30 p.m. when game begins. Princess Cloister is calling all princesses from across the land to join her Out for a royal tea party. Princesses are encouraged to wear old S their favorite princess dresses. Rumor has it that Prince Charming may stop by, so you don’t want to miss this royally epic event. $65/child. (Ages 3-8). Reservations required. Louisiana Bayou Dinner in the Beach Club Ocean Room, 5-8:30 p.m.––Experience a taste of New Orleans and all of its Southern flare. Enjoy the views of Sea Island with live music and tasty treats. $68/adult, $30/child. (Ages 4-12). Resort casual. Reservations required. To view menu, click here. – Thursday, December 30 – Pirate Party at Sea Island Kids, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Yo Ho, Yo Ho! Captain Black Banks is hosting a swashbuckling good time at Sea Island Kids! All young Out pirates from across the sea are invited to join him in making old S some pirate crafts, look for buried treasure, and have some island-hopping fun! $65/child. (Ages 3-8). Reservations required. IRainbow Island Roots Dinner, 5-8:30 p.m. Rainbow Island plays host to a relaxed and rustic family dining feast of authentic Southern cooking. Enjoy an Out updated menu with old classics. Jeep Train picks up Sold from the Beach Club beginning at 4:45 p.m. and makes continuous loops until 8:30 p.m. Live music and cash bar available. $85/adult, $30/child (ages 4-12). Resort casual. Participants meet at Beach Club entrance. Check-in is on Wednesday, December 30 from 2:30-6 p.m. at the Fitness Center. Pre-registration $55/person, $65/day of registration. IDs will be checked at all access points. The Cloister Restaurant Dining: Restaurant dining at Tavola and River Bar is open to families of all ages until 10 p.m. Dining reservations are required. At 10 p.m., The Cloister will only become available to those 21 years of age and older. Please note that after 5 p.m., Black tie recommended; jacket and tie required. Families who wish to continue the celebration after dining in one of The Cloister restaurants are invited to join the party at the Beach Club at no additional entry cost. Special Events: After 5 p.m. special celebrations including “Party Under the Stars” on the Black Banks Terrace, will be available only to those 21 years of age and older and require wristbands. Reservations are required for “Dinner and a Show” in The Cloister Ballroom. Black tie recommended; jacket and tie required. Wristbands must be worn beginning at 5 p.m. for access. Complimentary New Year’s Eve wristbands will be provided for: • Sea Island Club members and guests of Club members who are 21 years of age or older, with restaurant or special event dining reservations at The Cloister or The Lodge. • Resort Guests (based on lodging reservation at The Cloister, The Lodge, the Beach Club, Cottages, and Exclusive Resorts) upon check-in. Wristbands are $50/person for: • Sea Island Club members and guests of members who do not Out have restaurant or special event dining reservations. Limit ten old S per Sea Island Club member account. Beginning December 28, New Year’s Eve wristbands will be $100/person. How to Get Wristbands: • Sea Island Club members may purchase wristbands for celebrations at The Cloister in advance by sending an e-mail to memberreservations@seaisland.com or by calling Member Reservations at (912) 634-4444. Wristbands will be charged at the time of pick up. 4
Wristband Pick-Up: Wristbands must be picked up at The Cloister Spanish Lounge on New Year’s Eve from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for those celebrating the holiday at The Cloister. Wristbands must be picked up by the main member on the account. You must be 21 years or older to retrive wristbands and present a government- issued ID. Wristbands may not be picked up in advance of New Year’s Eve. Wristbands must be worn beginning at 5 p.m. for access to dining and celebrations at The Cloister. Beach Club The Beach Club will be closing from 5-6 p.m. to prepare for evening events. A fun-filled family celebration awaits all who have made reservations for the ultra-casual “New Year’s Eve Beach Club Celebration” or those who have dined at The Cloister or The Lodge. Reservations for the “New Year’s Eve Beach Club Celebration” and Beach Club access are required. Guests will get their wristband upon check in at the “New Year’s Eve Beach Club Celebration” no earlier than 6 p.m. The Lodge A perfect spot for those looking for an elegant and sophisticated evening. Dining at the Oak Room and Colt & Alison and The Lodge Wine Cellar. Restaurant reservations are required; wristbands are not a requirement at The Lodge on New Year’s Eve. If you would like to join the festivities at The Cloister, you may retrieve your wristband at your dining reservation. New Year’s Eve Transportation For Resort Guests and Sea Island Club Members— Complimentary shuttles will run continuous loops between The Cloister, The Lodge, and Retreat between 5 p.m.-1:30 a.m. For Cottage Guests and Sea Island residents— Transportation will run continuous loops down Sea Island Drive, stopping every 5th street. Loops will run between 5 p.m.-1:30 a.m. 5
