The vegetation grows longer, giving shelter for wildlife and protecting the shore against waves. 2. Heaps of green weed on the lake shore are New Zealand Pygmy weed, an invasive species that threatens native 2 wildlife and is easily spread to other lakes on wetsuits or dog's coats. 3. Covid-19 precautions Although most legal restrictions have been lifted in England we are all being advised to be cautious. You must NOT visit the Festival at all if you have tested positive for Covid19, have any symptoms or have been told to self isolate. Whilst the Festival is almost totally outdoors you are welcome to wear a face covering if you would like to (please note, all visitors to Theatre by the Lake are asked to wear a mask unless exempt). There is plenty of space in the Festival Village so please ensure you have the space you need at all times. We have hand wash stations & hand sanitiser readily available and the cleaning of shared facilities will be enhanced throughout the festival weekend. If you develop symptoms whilst at the Festival we ask you to leave immediately and get a test as soon as possible.
