W H Y L A L T ? LALT provides the absolute best training available at the most affordable price. Our classes are small and intimate to insure maximum individual attention and ultimate development. We are the only studio in South Africa who has since 2009 sent 35 students to the ATKV National Finals for Public Speaking. We offer students the opportunity to expand their skill set by not only focusing of theatre work and eisteddfod, but also incorporating television work in our curriculum. The curriculum which the studio uses is based on the teachings of the Speech and Drama College of South Africa, combined with personal teachings and experiences of seasoned performers. The studio aims to host a workshop once a term with industry professionals where students can engage with the best in the business. Twice a year students take part in our STUDENT-SHOWCASE where they perform for agents, friends of the industry and family to showcase what they have learnt throughout the various terms. Students receive a report on progress every term as well as a mark sheet which is placed next to every performance piece to track their development. Many of our students are also featured in adverts for television and radio and some have even gone on to play in films such as “Agter Die Deur” and “Spook van Uniondale.” W W W . L A L T . C O . Z A
