As part of providing our customers with a truly immersive hospitality experience
to pique all senses, we’ve collaborated with Grierson Galleries to exhibit the best
of contemporary art from a diverse range of local and international artists.
There is always something new on display, with the Grierson team continually
sourcing and showcasing a rolling exhibition of professional paintings, photography,
sculptures, glass and ceramic work and other hand-crafted products.
Gallery Director Annie Watsham describes The Hive as the “perfect forum to
appreciate a truly vibrant range of talent while seeing friends, working, or taking
some time out to relax.”
You can enjoy our art in the following ways:
• Simply pop in for a coffee and absorb the art on display, or ask a member of
  staff to show you around each space at your leisure
• Arrange a private viewing, or attend one of our regular exhibition launches held
  at The Hive
• Participate in a virtual tour arranged by Grierson Galleries (see The Hive website
  for regular updates)
• Attend a local exhibition, such as the Benenden Art Show (see The Hive website
  for regular updates)

for sale, and the artists are present to

Grierson Galleries aims to select artists
who have already established value
in the art world, having exhibited
in various galleries, including the
Grierson collection right here at The
Hive, or even at the Royal Academy.

At The Hive, we don’t just work hard, we play hard. Throughout the year, we have a
number of regular social events enjoyed by every cross-section of the community.

Some of our most popular social events include:

Ladies Who Sparkle
For any ladies who are looking to meet and socialise with like-minded individuals
in the local community, this is the perfect monthly social dedicated to fun and
friendship, food and drink. You don’t need to be single to join in the fun – all ladies
are welcome! Held on the second Thursday of the month, the evening also provides
an opportunity for female lifestyle and retail business owners to showcase their
products and services. Don’t sit at home when the world awaits your sparkle.

Music & Meze
One of the most popular events in our

social calendar, this medley of mellow
music and mouth-watering meze is
held on the first Friday of every month.

                                           MEZE
After a hard week at work, what better
way to unwind than to enjoy the best in
jazz, blues and soul, by supporting live
local talent organised and promoted
by Big WOW Live. Meet up with friends,     First Friday of every month-

Indian / Thai supper Clubs
A chance to socialise and indulge, while sampling some of the most exquisite
dishes from around the world, freshly cooked by local chefs using authentic
recipes, who are also on-hand throughout the evening to talk guests through
the dishes and answer any questions. A burst of cultural cuisine to tingle your
tastebuds, held at The Hive on the fourth Thursday of the month. Pre-book your

Hire The Hive
Planning to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special
occasion with a buzz? Looking to arrange a corporate function
in style? Call or email us with your requirements and we can put
together a bespoke package, including staff and catering for
your next business event or social function. Or simply book a
table for lunch or dinner.

Business Events at The Hive
Whether you’re a Hive Buzz Packer already benefiting from our coworking
facilities; working from home and looking to meet like-minded individuals or find
new clients; or office-based and simply looking to expand your circle of contacts
– we have a range of business events to help you!
Regular business events include:
• FREE Big Buzz networking evenings held at The Hive on the third Thursday of
  each month
• Regular Mums in Business networking mornings
• Informal business insights forums providing an opportunity for local
  businesspeople to discuss current economic issues, voice their opinions and
  support fellow workers
• A range of business workshops throughout the year, including coaching,
  blogging, financing, social media (leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn,
  Facebook, Instagram, Google and Google Adwords), and podcasts (developing
  and launching your own podcast).
