General advice on transport Delegates need to take into account that public transport systems in South Africa are not that well developed and not always reliable. Note the following: Travel by Gautrain between the airport and Pretoria is a relatively reliable and convenient option. For travel between Hatfield station, accommodation and the symposium venue, delegates are advised to arrange transfers via the accommodation establishments where they are booked, prior to their arrival. It is not advisable to walk to the symposium venue, even if staying close by.
