DAY 1:
Intercamp Flight: Harare to Mana Pools [90-minute flight]
Meet and greet by a representative of eXplore Plus Travel & Tours at OR Tambo Airport at the SAA check-
in counter 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
The package includes return economy airfare with SAA from Johannesburg to Harare Airport (departing at
10h30, arriving at 12h05).
Upon arrival in Harare, you will be met by our representative who will assist you to the light aircraft for
your flight to Dandawa Airstrip in Mana Pools National Park. The name itself, 'Mana', means four in local
Shona, and is a reference to the four large pools that the mighty Zambezi River carved out thousands of
years ago. Today, these pools are the reason for this being such a hailed safari destination, as they attract a
great amount of wildlife. You will be able to head out on an afternoon activity after settling into camp.

DAY 2: Mana Pools National Park
Enjoy a full day to explore different inland riverbeds, pans and open plains of the park with game drives or
guided walks with your armed, professional guide, well off the beaten track. This diverse area has multiple
vlei lines and mixed woodland types from Mopane woodland to Jesse bush and riverine forests. The Kanga
Pan is the only permanent water source for a 15km radius and teems with wildlife, especially in the dry
season, creating the perfect setting for Kanga’s famous ‘Armchair Safaris’.

DAY 3: Mana Pools National Park
We make our way to the river’s edge to experience Mana Pools on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.
Mana is one of the few true wildernesses in the world where you can encounter elephant, lion and wild
dog in close proximity. Large concentrations of buffalo and elephant are regularly found along the river's
edges, while predators such as lion, wild dog and leopard are often sighted.
Overnight at Nyamatusi Camp with lunch, dinner, breakfast and a selection of alcoholic & non-alcoholic
drinks included.
DAY 4: Mana Pools National Park
Mana Pools is also known for its abundance and enormous, beautiful trees providing shade and making it
ideal for walking. Canoe trips offer a unique and memorable way to experience the area’s striking scenic
beauty and diverse fauna, while guided walks are a great way to take its pristine riverside forests. Birdlife is
superb, particularly for both mopane woodland and riverine species with numerous local specials like
collared palm-thrush, racket-tailed roller, purple-banded sunbird and black-throated wattle-eyes.

DAY 5:
Intercamp Flight: Mana Pools to Harare (90-minutes)
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before your transfer to Mana Main Airstrip for your flight with light aircraft to
Harare Airport for your onwards flight home, departing at 12h50, arriving 14h30.
