3 DAY CENTRAL KRUGER NATIONAL PARK FLY IN SAFARI ABOUT THE TOUR 2021/2022 Rates- 1 November 2020 – 31 October 2022: This safari Departs with a min of 2 clients Children 11 years and below sharing with Parents less 25% Daily Departures – Min age 3 years R12 780 PP SHARING / R14 580 SINGLE WHAT TO EXPECT? Quests overnight in the Central Kruger National Park. Satara Rest Camp is known as the best lion territory in the Kruger National Park. This tour needs to be booked well in advance as Satara Rest Camp is an extremely popular rest camp and has limited accommodation, subject to availability. Your 3-day Central Kruger Safari will include a pickup from Skukuza airport In the Kruger national park with an Afternoon Safari on Day 1, Early Morning and Late Afternoon Safaris on day 2, a Morning safari in the Kruger Park on Day 3, before flying to Johannesburg. This is a slightly more expensive safari as overnighting in Kruger is more costly than staying outside the park, you guides will also be staying in Satara Rest Camp. As these safaris are run with Max 6 clients per vehicle, perfect for photographic and birding tours.
Departure & Return Location + Clients need to book their own flights with AIRLINK - www.Flyairlink.com + Clients can fly directly into the below airports: Skukuza Kruger National park (SZK) + Arrival: Flights need to land before 1pm allowing time to get to Satara rest camp before gates closing. + Departure: Flight need to depart no earlier than 11am giving guides enough time to get to the airports on time. Clients are advised to have travel insurance as flight can be cancelled, delayed or missed 3 DAY ITINERARY DAY 1: Fly into Kruger & afternoon safari in the Kruger National Park (Dinner) Clients will be collected at Skukuza Airport in the Kruger National Park, you will be met by your Kurt Safari Guide, Clients will start immediately with the Safari and head north to Satara approximately 100 km North and hope for some great wildlife sightings ahead towards Satara. Kurt Safari guides have years of experience, and every safari will differ depending on the times of the year, with different seasons and temperatures. Once in Satara you will check into your Bungalow for the following 2 nights, depending on the time you might have another short safari before gate closing time. The restaurant at Satara offers a variety of dishes, there is something for everyone. Bungalows are not luxury accommodation, but all have en-suite bathrooms and are all air-conditioned, with a Veranda a fridge and braai area. They are serviced daily and are in walking distance from the pool, restaurant and shop. Dinner will be at the restaurant and your guide can arrange you a fire at your bungalow and listen to the Night sounds after Dinner.
Day 2: Morning and Afternoon Safaris (Breakfast & Dinner) All safaris start before sunrise, Mpumalanga means the place of the rising sun and is the first province in South Africa to see the sun rise. This is the best part of the day, not knowing what to expect, Gates open just before sunrise your guide will stop after about 3 hours for a breakfast and bathroom break and chance to get a coffee. We then continue with your safari, Kruger offers a variety of eco zones and each one has a different range of wildlife, we visit rivers and watering holes as well as plains and Bushveld regions. You will return to your Rest camp around 11 Am daily for a swim and time to relax and depart again at around 3 pm for your afternoon safari, again many different routes with waterholes not far from the camp that offer great sunsets. You will return to the rest camp at gate closing time and have a hearty dinner at the restaurant. Your guide can make a fire after dinner and enjoy a glass of wine while listening to the African night sounds and the distance call of the hyena and lion when lucky. (OPTIONAL NIGHT SAFARIS – your guide can arrange this with reception these drives are only conducted by Sanparks with their open safari vehicles, and are at an additional cost) DAY 3: Morning safari then Return Flight (Breakfast) The last safari and again we depart before sunrise, your guide will try for lion and leopard as they are most active in the early mornings. The Kruger National Park has 148 mammal species and over 500 bird species. So, lots to see and photograph. Your guide will plan his route accordingly and will find a breakfast stop on the way, please do not book flights departing before 11 Am to ensure enough time to get to the Airport and check in. Here you say goodbye to your guide and freshen up before the journey back to Johannesburg, with many fond memories of a great Safari with us!

Cancellation Policy No fee will be charged if a multiple day – Overnight tour is Postponed with 30 Days’ notice and more , based on clients staying in the same quality accommodation. Cancellations made after confirmation by email and deposits paid are subject to the following cancellation fees: (Due to South African parks Terms and conditions regarding accommodation.) • Cancelling a reservation 0 – 7 days prior to a booking will result in 40% cancellation fees. • Cancelling a reservation 8 – 30 days prior to a booking will result in 25% cancellation fees. It is strongly advised that clients travel with travel insurance against cancellation, loss of baggage, medical cover and expenses covering accidents, theft and injury.
RATES ARE VALID FROM 1 NOVEMBER 2020 TO 31 OCTOBER 2022 We require a min 2 clients on shared and min 4 clients for private tours/safaris. 1. A small single supplement is charged for single travellers. 2. All rates are quoted in South African Rand. 3. All prices are quoted in Rack rates. 4. Transfer costs and Conservation fees are included in the rates. 5. Rates are subject to change due to 3rd Party suppliers. 6. Safaris and Transfers are not private unless booked on a private basis. 7. Children 11 & under sharing with 2 adults = 75% of adult rate for private tours & 50% for shared, unless otherwise indicated. 8. Children under the age of 8 need to be booked under private departures (min 4 clients). 9. If children are 3 years or younger, all safaris will be conducted in closed air-conditioned vehicles. 10. Guests that are making use of our shuttle and flying out of O.R. Tambo International Airport on the last day are reminded not to book any flights departing earlier than 19:00 (domestic) or 20h00pm (international). 11. We do not accept any liability for guests missing flights, should they be booked to fly out on the last day. 12. Please note that we have a luggage restriction of 20Kg per person and a small piece of hand luggage. 13. Please note shuttles from Johannesburg depart at 6:45 am from the OR Tambo Bus & Shuttle Terminal and a maximum 5 km radius from the OR Tambo International Airport. 14. Please request out list of accommodation venues available in the area; all lodges include a shuttle service to and from the OR Tambo International Shuttle/Bus terminal; it is very safe and clearly marked. 15. Clients can also access the OR Tambo shuttle bus terminal from Sandton Hotels/Pretoria via the Gautrain service or Uber. 16. Clients will be collected from various accommodation venues between 06h00-06h45am; these times will be confirmed with you via your consultant when booking the tour.
