This sensational evening is complete with delightful libations, dinner-by-the-bite from over 70 remarkable restaurants, wild animal encounters, high-energy entertainment and dancing under the stars. It’s a beloved favorite of the region and the most fun you’ve ever had at a fundraiser! Annually, Zoofari attracts more than 2,600 guests and raises integral support for the Zoo’s initiatives, including the care and sustenance of 500 animal and 3,000 plant species, ground-breaking conservation efforts and educational programs that reach more than 350,000 students annually. A LOOK BACK AT ZOOFARI 2019 A sellout crowd of more than 2,600 guests celebrated with the Cincinnati Zoo at Zoofari 2019: A Masquerade Ball. The evening of fun and fundraising featured more than 70 of the finest restaurants in the city, 30 up-close animal encounters, live music and dancing. Zoofari 2019 was a record-breaker, with more than $1 million raised for Zoo initiatives. The event was chaired by the passionate leadership of Lisa and Tim Massa. Zoofari was presented by Western & Southern Financial Group and Fort Washington Investment Advisors Inc. Additionally, over 100 organizations, including Lexus, Great American Insurance Group, Inc., The Kroger Co., National Band & Tag, and the Rendigs Foundation demonstrated a shared dedication to our mission and truly answered the call as a champion of wildlife, environmental education, research, and sustainability.

Relax on the multi-tiered deck of the Zoo’s new beer garden with incredible views of the kangaroo walk-about, a new little blue penguin habitat, adventure ropes course, and more! Your experience will include light bites and craft beer sampling at the Cincinnati Zoo’s own Hops Craft Beer Garden. GALLIVANTING WITH THE GORILLAS - $4,000 (Two available) Very exclusive and VIP experience with the world-famous Cincinnati Zoo gorillas. This unique behind-the-scenes tour will be led by Curator of Primates, Ron Evans. Your group will have the opportunity to observe gorilla behavior after hours from the public side of the habitat including an actual gorilla husbandry behavior training session, showcasing the special relationship between the keepers and the gorillas. A special after-hours experience for you and 15 guests includes light bites and beverages. (Please note: Gorillas are very susceptible to colds and flu. Because of this, guests cannot be ill or recently been in the proximity of someone ill in order to attend this experience.) FIRESIDE CHAT WITH ZOO DIRECTOR THANE MAYNARD - $4,000 (Two available) Those who have been fortunate enough to experience will agree that the only thing more beautiful than a clear African night sky is the sunset atop the African bush. This experience is a close second! Take in the atmosphere with the sights and sounds of the Cincinnati Zoo’s own African animals at sunset. Sit back and relax in our Twiga Tented Camp where the fire is lit, and drinks are served. You and fifteen adult friends will have the opportunity to share in a fireside chat with Zoo Director Thane Maynard. Hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer will be served in the most unique location in the city. THE ULTIMATE BEHIND-THE-SCENES TOUR - $3,000 (Four available) Enjoy an up-close and personal experience with the Galapagos tortoise, followed by a meet & greet with our Ambassador Animals including our wallabies and tamandua. Hours are 9am – 4pm M-F. Please note that if a fork lift is needed to take pallets off a truck, delivery must arrive before 3pm. - Notify David.plogmann@cincinnatizoo.org of arrival date and number of boxes. - The entrance to the Zoo Purchasing Department is now located on Dury Ave – across from the Zoo’s Employee Parking lot. It has a sign on it that says ‘Gate 4’. - When you pull up to the gate, call Security (513-475-6112). - Let them know you have a delivery for Zoofari to take to Purchasing. - Once they open the gate, drive slowly behind-the-scenes of the Zoo. You will drive down a hill, then up to our Safari Parking lot and then head all the way to the back, left corner of the lot. - You will then drive through another gate and up the hill past our CREW and Veterinary Facility. - The Purchasing Department is located in a more open area, and it will be on your left. There is a door with Purchasing/ Receiving on the outside (next to the Pepsi machine), park there. - Once you enter the building, let them know you have a delivery for Zoofari and they will accept the package. While we have made changes to Zoofari due to COVID-19, we are committed to ensuring an exceptionally fun and safe evening for our guests.
