It’s the most detailed study of its kind in the world. So far, the project has published more than 2,000 papers on a vast range of topics such as diet and ftness, parenting patterns, autism, allergies and self-harm and the impact of genes, environment and major life events on physical and mental health. The data has contributed to breakthroughs, with big impacts on science and policy. During 2020, participants helped researchers understand more about COVID -19 by completing questionnaires, taking antibody tests and reporting symptoms. The study will continue to follow participants throughout their lives, as well as the next generation – the Children of the Children of the 90s. 11
