A NEW LIDL FOR BLACKBURN - FURTHERGATE Have Your Say We are holding a public exhibition on Thursday 11th October 2018 at Accrington Road Community Centre, Accrington Road, Blackburn, BB1 2AQ from 1 pm to 6 pm. Please come along and share your thoughts… Site Background The site is located directly south of the A678 arterial road that leads into Blackburn Town Centre. The site is accessed off St Clement Street and is currently used as the premises for Fix Auto Blackburn, which is relocating to more suitable site within the locality. The site is predominately rectangular and extends to approximately 0.67 ha. The surrounding area is characterised by a mixture of use types. Beyond the A678 to the north is mainly typified as a commercial area. To the west, St Thomas C of E Primary School and associated playing field are situated. The rest of the area to the south and east primarily comprises of residential dwellings.
The Proposal Lidl propose to develop a new store on the site, which will entrance through the car park.
