LIBRARY HOURS July 2020 Mon. & Wed. @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Fri. @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm McComb Library Log Sat. @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Website: http://mccombpl.org Phone: 419-293-2425 A Letter from the Director... To Our Communities, It was so good to open our doors back up on June 1. We were able to bring back a small bit of normal back into our lives and we are hoping your lives as well. We are open with reduced hours and COVID-19 guidelines but are fortunate to be able to provide most of our services except in house programming and meeting room use. Our summer reading program was completely revamped and we don’t know when we will be able to offer in-library programming but we are blessed with an amazing staff who have creatively adapted all the details that had to change. Curb side pick up and home delivery are still available during these unprecedented times and the top priority of our Library Board and Staff is your safety along with keeping our staff safe. Our Public Library Funding Budget has seen a reduction of -16.39% and we are absorbing these cuts through a reduction in staff hours and savings in utility costs during library closures. Our Friends Group has also gifted $6225.25 for the purchase of library materials. As we look into future months much is uncertain as to when we can increase our hours and begin programming services but we will continue to re-evaluate the situation as circumstances change. Jane Schaffner, Director
