42 Reasons Sleep Out Mid West Simon Community What to bring? Sleeping bag and pillow: we recommend a 3-4 season sleeping bag suitable for autumn/winter camping and a pillow. Warm layers: multiple thin layers are the key to keep- ing warm, so bring more layers than you think you’ll need! A thermal layer, long sleeve t-shirt, jumper, warm coat and waterproof are recommended along with a hat, scarf and gloves. Spare shoes and socks: Participants wishing to take part in the kicking competition should bring spare foot ware as the pitch may be wet.
