OUR EVENTS Hepatitis B Foundation Gala Held each year in April, the Gala is the signature fundraising event of the Hepatitis B Foundation, attracting leaders from academia, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, and the community for an evening in support of our mission to save lives. The event includes the presentation of the prestigious Baruch S. Blumberg Prize, our highest honor for outstanding contributions to the science and medicine of hepatitis B. Our 31st Annual Gala event will be held on April 1, 2022 at The Warrington. 300 April 1, guests 2022 Entrepreneur Spotlight Held in July, the Entrepreneur’s Spotlight showcases select companies at the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center to potential investors. The event attracts area business leaders and biotech investors for a Shark Tank-style event, where select companies pitch their business to potential investors who can help make their ideas a reality. Following their pitch, the presenters field questions from a panel of investors and experts in business development, as well as from the audience. >100 July 21, business 2022 leaders Regional Biotechnology Conference Held in November, the Annual Biotechnology Conference attracts the region’s movers and shakers for a half-day of dynamic speakers and topics that are important to start-up and early-stage biotech company leaders.
