Intr oduction
The Curragh Racecourse in County Kildare is third century when chariot races were held at the
Ireland’s premier international Flat horse racing “Cuireach” - the Gaelic word for racecourse, on the
venue and one of the most iconic Racecourses in lands known today as the Curragh

BY CAR Take exit 12 off the M7 and follow the R413 for a short drive until you come to the Curragh
racecourse, follow the signage to the designated car park, which is on the right.
BY RAIL Trains to Newbridge and Kildare Town with free shuttle to racecourse on race days.
BY BUS Expressway Bus Service from Dublin www.expressway.ie. Complimentary bus service from

BY AIR Dublin Airport is approx. one hour by car
Private planes to Weston, Dublin; Kilrush Airstrip, Kilcullen
