Welcome to the NSW State Championships On behalf of Baseball NSW, I am pleased to welcome you all to the 2021 NSW State Championships. After such a chaotic year as a result of COVID19, we are looking forward to this year’s tournament featuring the best players from our Metro and Country associations battling it out on the diamond. We have over 650 players, from 10 Associations participating over the coming days from our League Age 10/11’s through to Little League Majors, Intermediate League, Junior League and Senior League teams. I can only imagine the hours all of these teams, coaches, managers and parents have put into their preparation for this year’s Championships. The last 12 months have shown us that hard work and determination can still be rewarded and we, at Baseball NSW, are looking forward to seeing the hard work playing out on the field. COVID19 has truly seen our motto of ‘Character, Courage & Loyalty’ come to the fore as we all pulled together to fight to keep our families and our sport safe enough to continue. The 2021 State Championships is a COVID19 Safe event and we encourage all attending to adhere to the current State Health Orders in place at that time. As a reminder, only the top two teams in each division will go on to represent NSW at the National Tournaments later in the year. Lastly, none of this would be possible without our amazing volunteers and parents, a big thank you to all the volunteers and officials who donate their time to make ensure the players make the diamond prepared to take on the best NSW has to offer. Without them, the NSW State Championships would not be possible. I wish all teams participating in the 2021 State Championships the best of luck throughout the competition and beyond. Evan Longoria is my favourite baseball player because he has
done many amazing things in his career for the Rays, but now
that he plays for the Giants he is now their 3rd baseman which is
my favourite position.

Nobody, I like who I am.
Who is your favourite baseball player and why?
Aaron Judge because on a personal level, he seems humble and
down to earth for someone who has had a lot of success so early
in his career. Hopefully, that won’t change.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life,
what would it be?
A cheeseburger.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I would like to be a happy person who inspires others.

Pitcher, Short Stop, Second Base and Centre field.
What do you like to do when you aren’t playing baseball?
I love to watch baseball games and when I can’t I love to go
swimming, play with my friends and go camping.
What is something you cannot live without?
Family and baseball.
What is your favourite thing about baseball?
Pitching so I can get the crowd pumping and my team ready to play.
I also love watching it and playing with my friends. I love playing for
Belmont and Newcastle. I just love doing it cause I love it (the sport).
If you could be any character from any movie or television
show, who would you want to be?
I would be “The Rock” – Dwayne Johnston.
Who is your favourite baseball player and why?
Javier Baez because I like watching him do all of his magical tricks
and the way he throws. His skills are incredible, better than epic.
I also like Fernando Tatis Jr because he is very athletic and brave.
Brave because he puts his body on the line to make amazing plays
and does what it takes. Both of them are really good role models.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life,
what would it be?
That’s actually really hard but it would have to be mum’s butter chicken.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A professional baseball player and a sports physiotherapist. When I
live in America I would like to be able to help people in need with do-
nations, so if I was to make lots of money like the professional baseball
players I would donate to people to make them comfortable in life.

Uncle Michael (Campbell) because I see him as a really
good baseballer.

what would it be?
Chicken schnitzel.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A Major League Baseball player and once I finish being a major
league baseballer I will come back and become an electrician.

What is your favourite thing about baseball?
It feels really good when you do something perfectly.
If you could be any character from any movie or television
show, who would you want to be?
Antman, sometimes I wish I was Antman when I need to get
something out of a small space.
Who is your favourite baseball player and why?
Wang Chien-Ming from Taiwan. I like him because he continues to
work very hard after his shoulder injury and got back to playing in
MLB again.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life,
what would it be?
Egg.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Baseball Player and Mechanical Engineer.

What do you like to do when you aren’t playing baseball?
I like to hang out with my mates and playing rugby league.
What is something you cannot live without?
I cannot live without desserts and my mates.
What is your favourite thing about baseball?
My favourite thing about baseball is everything. I really enjoy
the game.
If you could be any character from any movie or television
show, who would you want to be?
Steve Blackshaw from deadly 60.
Who is your favourite baseball player and why?
I really don’t have a favourite baseball player. But I like the
Blue Sox.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life,
what would it be?
The one food that I would eat is Chicken schnitzel burgers
with bacon.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I would like to be a sportsman or a zookeeper.

I like Surfing and Nintendo switch in my free time.

I can’t live without baseball.

I like stealing bases (2nd or 3rd).

show, who would you want to be?
I want to be Benjamin Rodriguez from sandlot.
Who is your favourite baseball player and why?
My favourite baseball player is Ichiro Suzuki because he is basically
a 5-tool player.

what would it be?
If i had to choose it would be sushi.

I want to be a 5-tool player in the MLB.

The fact that you can make game-changing plays in clutch

Aaron Judge because he is a consistent batter and has a strong
arm and won the 2017 home run derby.
