Welcome to Housing & Dining at Texas Woman’s University! This guide has been created to provide you with all of the necessary information you need to have a successful move-in for your spring 2021 on-campus housing. Our move-in theme this year is “Take Flight,” because it is our hope that you will spread your wings and take off to greatness like the majestic barn owl that serves as our university’s mascot. 2 Essential Information Opening & Closing Dates When You Arrive Remember to have your TWU ID and/or Spring 2021 Driver’s License when you arrive for January 7 - New students begin moving in move-in day. 6 Housing Amenities What’s In My Room? Parliament Village, Guinn Hall and Stark Hall: Rooms are furnished with a twin XL bed, desk, chair and dresser for each resident. Each unit also includes a microfridge and wifi. Lowry Woods Community: Rooms are furnished with a full-size bed, dresser, desk and chair for each resident. Each apartment also includes wifi, a sofa or love seat, side tables and chairs, stove, dishwasher, microwave and full-size refrigerator. 7 Campus Dining Meal Plans Dining Options Residents of Parliament Village, Guinn Hall and Dining Hall Stark Hall are required to sign up for a residential Mon-Thurs: 7 AM-8:30 PM meal plan while living on campus.
