Event Details: Join us as we tell cancer to “Take a hike!” and get various hikes mapped depending on
level selected as we work to cover as much ground as possible by June 5, 2021. Enter your hike location

Vintage Brewing Company Percent Day
Date: Tuesday, June 1st, 11am-10pm
Candidate Supporting: Dan Truehl
Event Details: Vintage Brewing Co. will donate 10 percent of its sales for any guest that mentions they
are dining/ordering as part of the LLS campaign. This includes dining in, carry out, online orders, and
togo beer. It is important that each guest mentions that they are part of the LLS campaign. If you order
online for curbside pick up, you can memo this in with their order.

Happy Hour for a Cause
Date: Wednesday, June 2nd, 4-7pm

Event Details: Join us at Ruth’s Chris Steak House – Madison for a happy hour with a great cause. Join
Jessa Jeremiah, Lee Acker, and other TVW hosts as they will be taping the local television show
“Wisconsin Women” on site with special cocktails where proceeds will benefit LLS.

Shorty Scramble

Event Details: Come hone your short game skills and join us for a super-fun 9 hole scramble on the par 3
course at Vitense! We are holding a 2 person team scramble to raise money to benefit The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society that’s guaranteed to be a good time! Not a golfer? There’s an option to play foot golf
as well.

Team Trivia
Date: Sunday, May 9th 1:00PM

Event Details: Come have some fun and play Trivia! $40 per team (max team size 6, suggested 4-6
people to maximize space). Cash prize for the winning team. And all mom’s there will be entered into a
drawing to win a 60-minute massage! They are operating at 50% capacity with tables spaced
appropriately apart. All trivia answers will be submitted via Discord to minimize walking around.

You’re RIGHT! Trivia Night: Cuz cancer’s just so wrong
Date: Thursday, May 13th, 7:00PM

Event Details: Gather your best (smartest?) buddies and join us for a FUN evening that will raise funds
to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)! This virtual, three-round trivia contest will be held
via Zoom on Thursday evening, May 13, beginning at 7:00pm. Deadline to register is 5:00 pm on May
12th. $40 for teams of 2, $60 for teams of 3, and $70 for team of 4-6 people.

*In the comment section, please list Team Captain Email, Team Name, Team Member Names and
Emails.
*During the trivia night, only the Team CAPTAIN will submit the answers, but your team can/should
assist you in answering (without googling or otherwise cheating - cuz, c’mon, why would you cheat?)

VIRTUAL WINE TASTING + TOUR OF WISCONSIN’S COLD-CLIMATE WINES
Date: Friday, May 14th 7:00pm-8:30pm

Event Details: Explore the best of Wisconsin’s cold-climate wines in this virtual wine tasting. Learn how
to taste wine in proper fashion, delve into local grape varieties, discuss prominent characteristics, a little
history and how wine is made. Tickets cost $25.
This is intended to be an entry-level course and no experience is required. There are no wrong answers
or silly questions and the goal is to learn in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Participants will have the

option to taste along with the instructor, get and give live feedback and ask any questions from the
comfort of your living room!

Tri-ing Against Blood Cancer
Date: Saturday, May 15th
Candidate Supporting: Mike Gorski
Event Details: Come join us on Saturday May 15th for a dip in the Monona pool, a ride through the
Verona hillside and a 5K run. You get to pick your distance for the swim; either 1600 yd, 1000 yd or 400
yd. Reserve your 30 minute spot at Monona HS Pool (instructions come after registration), then drive
over to E3 Coaching Madison in Verona to ride 15 miles through the countryside and run a 5K from our
facility. Start and End of the bike and run portion are at the same location (E3 Coaching Madison). Cost
is $25. Stick around after for prizes and recovery food! To receive a t-shirt, must register by May 3rd at
11pm. When registering, please put t-shirt size in the comments!
