COURSES FACULTY DAY AND TIME LOCATION 2nd Monday of Every Other Month • 3:30 pm 2nd Floor Living Room African Drumming Colby Forman Last Wednesday of Every Pathways Living Room Month • 11:00 am A community drum circle is a place for a person to express themselves and connect with others through rhythm. Join us as we reap the benefits of drumming which include; reducing stress, boosting your immune system, gaining deeper self-awareness, grounding us in the present and connecting us with natural rhythms and those around us. Learn a variety of African rhythms, vocals and dance moves! 2nd Floor Activity Room I Have a Dream... Colby Forman January 20th • 2:30 pm Pathways Back Living Room Imagine yourself in Washington DC about the give the most memorable speech in history. What ideas and hopes would you share in this speech for the future. Remember when Martin Luther King gave his famous I had a dream speech. Join us on Martin Luther King Jr. Day when we will be writing our own dreams and wishes for the future generations to come. 2nd Tuesday of Every Tech Savvy Colby Forman 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 10:45 am Technology plays a prominent role in our current society. In this new and exciting Watermark University class we will be learning about how technology can assist us and make our daily lives just a little bit easier. For example, every now and then we all crave a specific type of food or restaurant. With a few simple clicks on a smart phone or computer you can order almost any type of food to be delivered right here to Blue Bell Place using an app called Grubhub. Come learn about Grubhub, Instacart and so much more! Amazing African- Wednesdays in February Community Life 2nd Floor Living Room Americans • 4:00 pm February marks Black History Month. In this new course, we will celebrate some of the amazing African- Americans that have made their mark in history and beyond. From fighting for the rights of colored people, patenting the lightbulb, winning Olympic titles, creating new forms of art and music, to being the world's most famous philanthropist and humanitarian, there are so many notable African-Americans to learn about and be thankful for!

Travel around the world with us in this Watermark University course! It's been a success during our past semesters and we will be back with more! We will be exploring a new city or country each month with a sensory kit including a slideshow, world music, flavors and more! 2nd and 4th Tuesday of Art Series Lecture Denise Felsenstein 2nd Floor Living Room Every Month • 10:45 am The Art Series Lecture will be provided to residents in an interactive class format to provide information and promote discussion about famous works of art and artists. Pictures of the artwork to be discussed will be brought by the instructor for each lesson. Information will be provided on the genre, medium, subjects, design qualities, and artist background for each type of art work provided. Each lesson will review one or two artwork pieces. Each lesson will introduce a new artwork print for residents to learn about and discuss. Autobiographical 4th Friday of Every Jamie Sangalang 2nd Floor Activity Room Reflections Month • 2:00 pm We all have a lifetime of stories that are worth sharing! In this course we will each get the opportunity to respond to a question about our lives and share it with our friends. At the end of the semester, you will have a biographical collection of your questions and responses to share your life story to your loved ones and pass on your legacy! 3rd Monday of Every Other Month • 11:00 am 2nd Floor Living Room Bell Choir Colby Forman 4th Friday of Every Pathways Activity Room Month • 10:45 am Have you always wanted to play an instrument in a group? Our Bell choir will work together in learning a variety of songs using handbells. We will collaborate on ideas and create a wonderful repertoire that will be performed for others both inside and outside the community.
COURSES FACULTY DAY AND TIME LOCATION Board Game Every Other Saturday • Community Life 2nd Floor Activity Room Extravaganza 1:30 pm Board games have many benefits for people of all ages! Board Games are a fun way to keep our brains stimulated! They are great modalities to increase attention, provide an opportunity for socialization, build strategy and problem solving skills, and increase endorphins. Together we will learn the rules and strategies of a few board games in this class such as Scrabble, The Game of Life, and Left-Right-Center. Eventually, we can start a board game group or even make up our own game! 4th Tuesday of Every Brain Games Bert Forman 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 2:00 pm Have you ever watched Jeopardy and thought "I could be on that show." If you answered yes, then this class is for you. Bert Forman, a teacher for many years, will be in our community once a month for a fun, interactive and educational game. Each month, different topics and themes are selected. At the end of the program, you will even receive prizes! 2nd Floor Activity Room Crystal Jones & Christy 1st Monday of Every Calligraphy Pathways Back Living Samsel Other Month • 11:00 am Room Did you know that calligraphy is actually Greek and was used as a Greek language? Join us as we have Crystal and Christy teach us the language of the ancient Greeks, it sure will be a swift class that will make time sweep by. Create beautiful calligraphy art that will impress! 2nd Tuesday of Every Ceramics Class Elizabeth Alecknavage 2nd Floor Activity Room Other Month • 2:00 pm Come and learn how to pinch, coil, and roll clay into useful or decorative pieces in this fun class. After hand building your piece, we will paint directly on the wet clay with your choice of colored underglazes. Liz will take the pieces home and fire them in her kiln after they've dried. She'll return them to you at the following month's class. All the materials are non-toxic and safe to use for food and drink after they've been fired.
COURSES FACULTY DAY AND TIME LOCATION Chair Yoga & Guided Mondays • 10:15 am 2nd Floor Living Room Colby Forman Imagery Mondays • 2:30 pm Pathways Living Room This class is for those who want the benefits of yoga but are uncomfortable getting down to and up from the floor. Chair yoga is done while sitting and/or standing next to a supporting chair. Join us and reap the many benefits of yoga in this class. The class will end with a guided imagery session and a mantra to take with you for the day. Guided Imagery is a mind and body intervention that directs one's thoughts toward a relaxed, meditative state. During this process, Colby will be gently instructing us through images, scents, and sounds. By using all of your senses, you can achieve a relaxed state and find a safe space to process your thoughts and emotions. Saturday, January 25th • Chinese Zodiac Community Life 2nd Floor Activity Room 1:30 pm In honor of the Lunar New Year, we will be learning about the Chinese Zodiac Signs. The Chinese zodiac consists of twelve animals that first appeared in the Zhan Guo period [5th century B.C.]. No one knows the exact date as of when the zodiac was essentially created, but they were officially identified during the Han Dynasty [206 B.C.–9 A.D.], which was over 2000 years ago. In this class we will learn the reasoning behind each sign, learn about our own signs, and compare the given characteristics! 1st Wednesday of Every Month • 4:00 pm 2nd Floor Activity Room Creative Cupcakes Ashley Magill 2nd Wednesday of Every Pathways Dining Room Month • 1:45 pm Have you ever decorated cupcakes before? Did you know there are over 25 different types of cake borders? In this class we will learn all about the different types of cake tips and what kind of borders they create. We will also give our attempt at decorating cupcakes to our liking. Join us to give a shot at your skills with decorating edible art. 1st Wednesday of Every Month • 4:00 pm 2nd Floor Activity Room Cooking Creations Ashley Magill 2nd Wednesday of Every Pathways Dining Room Month • 1:45 pm Channel your inner chef! In this course, we will work together to season, grill, saute, and serve some tasty foods! Join us and learn some new cooking techniques and refresh our old skills to make some delicious foods! Maybe even share your own favorite recipe with us!

It typically is identified by an emphasis on narrative craft, character development, and the use of literary tropes or with various traditions of poetry or poetics. Come join us and develop your narrative piece. 2nd Monday of Every Month • 2:30 pm 2nd Floor Living Room Dancing the Day Away Colby Forman 2nd Tuesday of Every Pathways Living Room Month • 11:00 am Do you love to dance? Come learn choreographed dances that are lively, engaging and a whole lot of fun! We will be exploring dance styles and moves from each generation. Gain the skills to perform moves from jitterbugging, box steps, and even new moves such as the floss. This is guaranteed to be a great time! 3rd Wednesday of Every 2nd Floor Activity Room Decadent Desserts! Community Life Month • 4:00 pm Pathways Dining Room Thursdays • 1:30 pm Don't you love the smell of fresh baked cookies? From brownies to pies and everything in between! Melt, whisk, roll, and bake with us to create these delicious desserts to sooth your sweet tooth! There's always room for dessert! 1st Tuesday of Every Donation Creations Maria Savagilo 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 10:45 am Last fall our Alzheimer’s Give Back Projects were an amazing success, fundraising a large donation towards the Alzheimer’s Awareness Association. This semester we are taking that same spirit and running with it! Each month we will create different products, led by Maria, to sell at our front desk fundraising station. We will choose a different charity or organization to donate the funds to each month. Lend a helping hand and pay it forward with this new Watermark Course! 4th Sunday of Every Drama Club Community Life 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 1:30 pm Calling all actors and actresses! Come join our fun and exciting drama club. Once a month we will practice improvisational techniques, get into character and read through a variety of dramatic and funny scripts. This class is open to beginners and professional actors. Come discover what it takes to be an actor.

Well, this class Edible Art is taking that thought to a whole new level! Create beautiful art masterpieces out of all edible ingredients. Join us for this unique class that combines cooking, art, and of-course eating! Friday, April 10th • Egg Dying Community Life 2nd Floor Activity Room 2:00 pm Easter egg dying is a popular tradition that dates back to ancient times. In honor of Easter, on April 10th, we will be dying and decorating our own beautiful Easter eggs using a combination of traditional and new techniques! Environmental Science 2nd Monday of Every Colby Forman 2nd Floor Activity Room for Seniors Month • 10:45 am The place we all call home, Mother Earth, has gone through many changes within our lifetimes. We must do what we can to keep her healthy. In this class we will learn the benefits of sustainability both for us as humans and for the environment around us. We will create products that promote a healthy world! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! 2nd & 4th Wednesday of Evening Flow Yoga Community Life 2nd Floor Living Room Every Month • 6:15 pm Evening Flow Yoga is similar to our chair yoga class, but focuses more on relaxation and guiding our body's to a peaceful state. This class will stretch your body while heightening your sense of relaxation that will allow you to have a wonderful night sleep. Join us for this meditative yoga every other Wednesday night. 4th Thursday of Every Month • 10:45 am 2nd Floor Living Room Everything Disney Ashley Magill 4th Friday of Every Pathways Living Room Month • 10:45 am Are you curious how Disney became what it is today with some many different parks, cruises, movies and more! Come learn how Walt created the empire and how it continues to thrive today. Learn about the making of some of your favorite characters and the inspiration behind them.

This new Watermark course will be based on a new docuseries called "Explained," and hopefully all your questions will be answered. Each episode covers an interesting topic or idea that wouldn't normally be featured in the regular TV news. We will watch a different episode together each session and have a discussion based on the topic explained. Come with questions! 1st Friday of Every Famous Philadelphians Community Life 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 2:00 pm We are fortunate to be part of the Greater Philadelphia Area which has so much culture and history! From the founding fathers to athletes, musicians to comedians, there are many Philadelphia natives to know about. Who knows, maybe one of us makes the cut?! In this course we will be learning about these famous Philadelphians who have made Philadelphia the great city that it is today. Fantasy Football Colby Forman Mondays • 2:00 pm 2nd Floor Activity Room E-A-G-L-E-S! In this class, we will be learning everything you need to know to create, manage and play fantasy football. Gain knowledge on this internet phenomenon, individual players, and football in general. Play for a chance to win the top prize of 200 bluebell bucks! 4th Monday of Every Fashion Through the Other Month • 3:30 pm 2nd Floor Activity Room Community Life Decades 1st Monday of Every Pathways Living Room Other Month • 10:15 am Do you have a passion for fashion? Fashion Through the Decades is a course where you learn about the history of fashion, accessories and jewelry. In this course, we will be using videos, photos, music and real life objects from the past. Learn about each decade and the fashion that went along with it! Find the Famous Face Community Life Wednesdays • 3:30 pm Pathways Living Room The movie stars and celebrities of the 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's greatly impacted our society today. This class allows you to try and identify these celebrities through fun and exciting games. Once we have identified the person, we will learn about there career and personal life. Join us as we learn and reminisce about the stars who created Hollywood as we know it.

If you guessed a beautiful flower arrangement, you are right. In this course, we will learn which containers best suit specific types of blooms, tips for coordinating colors, how to ensure the proper height proportion in arrangements, diverse layouts and how tips to help our arrangements thrive longer. Each class participant will gain applied experience in flower arranging as we create beautiful displays for the community. Then this is the class for you. Explore a variety of phenomenons through science experiments demonstrated on food. Learn how to make your own hard candy, all about frozen ice and so much more! 1st Monday of Every Fox Health Chat Lisa Oberdoester 2nd Floor Living Room Month • 11:00 am Lisa Oberdoester, from Fox Health, will educate and empower you to take charge of your health. Come learn about how nutrition, laughter, proper hand washing, and other lifestyle changes can impact your overall health and well-being. 3rd Monday of Every Generational Stories Colby Forman 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 3:30 pm Share your stories in this wonderful new Watermark University class. Do you have stories about your parents or grandparents that you would like to share with your children and grandchildren? In this class we will have the opportunity to create books filled with the history and lives of our generation and before it. After, enjoy sharing these priceless life stories, memories and even secret recipes with your family. 3rd Wednesday of Every Greek Mythology Ashley Magill 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 4:00 pm Let’s go back in time when gods and goddesses ruled the world! If you want to learn more about Zeus and Triton and many more such as medusa etc. We will talk about how Zeus ruled the gods, Cerus (the wild bull tamed by Persephone)and Antheia, the goddess of the Garden , without her your plants would never grow. Please join us to learn about them in depth, You won’t Regret it !

However, there are many holidays we celebrate from January to April that we may not know much about such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Chinese New Years, and Mardi Gras. This semester we offer this Holiday History course to learn about each holiday’s significance. Mark your calendars! 3rd Thursday of Every Month • 2:00 pm 2nd Floor Activity Room How-It-Works Community Life 1st Monday of Every Pathways Living Room Month • 3:30 pm Ever wonder how things work such as your cell phone or the elevator? Well in “How-It-Works” we will explore how the elevator goes up and down in between floors. Robots , what makes them so great and how they are overtaking the world by storm. Do you know how Fuel- Cell Cars operate? If not I suggest you join us to learn all new and interesting facts about how things work! 3rd Wednesday of Every 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 10:45 am Jewelry Making Community Life Pathways Back Living 2nd Sunday of Every Room Month • 2:30 pm For those of you that would like to get just a taste of what it’s like to make jewelry, you have found the right class. Join us to learn the basics of what it’s like to work in a jewelry workshop. We will share our tools and techniques that will leave you with a beautiful, unique piece of jewelry. 2nd Tuesday of the Leisure Education Jamie Sangalang 2nd Floor Activity Room month • 4:00 pm Activities Assistant, Jamie is a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist). She will be teaching this course where we will learn about the impact that recreation and leisure has on our lives and how we can engage in it ourselves. We will be utilizing a variety of recreation techniques such as games, crafts, and music. Life is what you make it, so let's make it fun! Life is a Cabaret Colby Forman Monday • 11:00 am 2nd Floor Living Room Ever dreamed of being on Broadway? Join us for a very exciting class where we will be creating our very own musical cabaret. It takes a village to create a show. Whether you want to be a performer, stage designer or choreographer, there is a place for you! Get ready to wow the audience at Blue Bell Place when we reveal our final production.
COURSES FACULTY DAY AND TIME LOCATION 2nd and 4th Tuesday of Mahjong Joanne Cueto 2nd Floor Activity Room Every Month • 6:15 pm Mahjong is a tile-based game which was developed in China since the Qing dynasty and is now played all around the world. Learn the strategies, rules, and history of this unique game. Watermark University Instructor, Joanne, will be co-leading this activity with her granddaughter, Jamie-Community Life Assistant. Make 'Em Laugh Community Life Mondays • 3:30 pm Pathways Living Room In this course we will challenge your brain and get a good laugh at the same time! Jokes and Riddles are a great way to unwind after a long day. It will also be a great way to start our weeks! 3rd Sunday of Every Mandalas Community Life Pathways Living Room Other Month • 2:30 pm The Indian word Mandala translates in English to circle. Mandalas have been used in eastern religious practices for centuries. These drawings are used to increase one’s attention span, relax your mind body and soul, enhance you're spiritual connect and create a safe space. Come explore through art! March Madness Anthony Warfel Mondays • 2:00 pm 2nd Floor Activity Room After the NFL Football season comes to an end, we make room for March Madness. March Madness is a men's basketball tournament where teams are eliminated one by one in search of a champion. In this class, we will be looking at the stats of the teams and athletes and betting Blue Bell Bucks on the winning teams. Join Anthony Warfel, Marketing Director, to learn all you need to become the champion of Blue Bell Place March Madness. 2nd Tuesday of Every Meet the Staff All Staff 2nd Floor Living Room Month • 10:45 am Each and every staff member at Blue Bell Place is responsible for creating our extraordinary community where we can all thrive! In this course, we will highlight what each staff member does from Med-Tech to HR, Maintenance to Naya. Get to know who they are personally and the ins and outs of what they do here at Blue Bell Place!

Come play to win major blue bell bucks! 4th Wednesday of Every Mixology 101 Community Life 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 4:00 pm Would you like to learn how to mix a great cocktail? We will be supplying a different cocktail recipe each month and teach the group hands-on how to create these delicious drinks. Some of the cocktails featured this spring semester will be Martinis, Wine Spritzers, Daiquiris and more! Come to learn how to be a mixologist while learning the history of each particular cocktail. Mix, Sip, learn and relax! 4th Tuesday of Every Month • 11:00 am 2nd Floor Activity Room Music Appreciation Colby Forman 4th Friday of Every Pathways Living Room Month • 10:45 am Weather you enjoy pop, classical, rock or jazz, music allows us to communicate and connect with ourselves and one another. It creates something larger than ourselves and allows us to celebrate our life stories. In this class we will be enjoying the sounds of our life by looking at historic events that correlate with the music of its era. We will also be looking at our own life stories and create project such as a musical biography. In Mythical Madness we will be learning about all the Mythical Creatures that we have or don’t have proof that they exist. Come explore the Magical things in the world with us. 2nd Floor Activity Room Every Other Monday • No Bake Recipes Ashley Magill Pathways Back Living 3:30 pm Room Have you ever wanted a cheesecake but didn’t want to turn the oven on? Well in No –Bake Recipes, we will learn different types of no bake recipes such as cookies and cakes, peanut butter bars and more! Join us as we explore these simple but unique recipes.

Come learn these techniques with us and take home one of a kind crafts! 3rd Monday of Every Community Life & Guest Month • 3:30 pm 2nd Floor Living Room Old Hollywood Speakers 2nd Monday of Every Pathways Living Room Month • 10:15 am Take a stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame! In this class we will be getting the scoop on the very first celebrities of Hollywood! Shirley Temple, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant. We will also focus on specific films and get the ins and outs of them! 2nd Tuesday of Every Month • 2:00 pm 2nd Floor Living Room Old Wives' Tales Ashley Magill 2nd Monday of Every Pathways Living Room Month • 3:30 pm If you've ever been told that you must tie your wedding ring onto a piece of string and hold it over your pregnant belly than you have been subjected to an Old Wives Tale. Have you ever wondered where Old Wives Tales stories come from? Have they changed throughout the generations? Perhaps they are based on a true story. Join us for this fun and informative class that debunks Old Wives Tales. 1st Monday of Every 2nd Floor Activity Room Month • 3:30 pm Painting With... Colby Forman Pathways Back Living 2nd Wednesday of Every Room Month • 10:45 am Let your creativity flow in this new and exciting painting course. In this class we will be painting with just about everything, except a paint brush. Join us as we explore the wonders household objects like sponges or a toothbrush can do with just a little bit of paint and a lot of creativity. We look forward to exploring a variety of techniques with you! 1st Tuesday of Every Paper Art Jamie Sangalang 2nd Floor Activity Room Other Month • 2:30 pm One of Jamie's favorite forms of art is paper art! She enjoys, tracing, collaging, folding, cutting, and quilling paper into beautiful creations and cards. Who knew what you could do to this everyday, flat, office supply? The opportunities are endless. In this paper art class, Jamie will be teaching you such techniques so you too can make some wonderful paper creations.

Become part of the team that helps bring these event ideas to life! In this course, we will be creating fun and beautiful decorations to showcase during our parties. Let’s get the party started! Physiology of Strength Jamie Sangalang & Lisa Tuesday, January 2nd • 2nd Floor Living Room Training Oberdoester 10:45 am Three times a week (or maybe more for some us) we exercise our bodies to build muscle in our strength training class. But do we really know what these exercises do for us? And are we doing them safely and correctly? Join us as we go over what each exercise targets and how to properly do them. This way we will be getting the most out of each exercise. Piano Lessons & 3rd Friday of Every Other Colby Forman Pathways Living Room Improvisations Month • 10:45 am Have you always wanted to learn a musical instrument but never had the chance? It is done by focusing on positive experiences, positive traits, and positive work in our lives. It looks at the strengths rather than weaknesses and building up the good in life instead of repairing the bad. The average person generates over four pounds of trash each year. An estimate of 75% of trash can be recycled but only 30% of trash is currently being recycled. As a community, we are coming together to help our environment in our Recycled Made New course. In this course, we will be creating beautiful projects out of recycled items such as a wallet made out of wrappers, pencil cases out of soda cartons, magnets our of soda and beer caps and much more! Prior to arriving at Blue Bell Place, Anthony had worked 10 years in development, real estate property management. Anthony Enjoys running, playing soccer, and riding his motorcycle. Food Science, Decadent Desserts, Greek Mythology, Ashley Magill National Parks Everything Disney and Old Wive's Tales and more! Ashley Magill, Community Life Assistant, is an exuberant Watermark University Instructor with many great ideas! She graduated Indiana University of Pennsylvania Academy of Culinary Arts with an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts. In her free time she loves to watch movies and spend time with her dog, Elsa. Ashley also enjoys doing crafts and baking at home. NAME OF INSTRUCTOR CLASS NAME Darrell Bryant Tai Chi Darrell Bryant comes to us from the Chinese Martial Arts and Wellness center. Darrell is also the owner of Ho’s Academy of Tai Chi in Harleysville. Ho’s Academy operates under guiding principles which enable good health and fitness, self-defense, and character building. Darrell is back at Blue Bell Place for his ninth semester and is excited to promote his system of movements for Blue Bell residents to achieve strength and balance in their lives. Denise Felsenstein Art Series Lecture, Stress Mangement Dr. Denise Felsenstein began teaching Art Goes to School (AGTS) classes for Wissahickon School District in 2000. Since then, she has taught mini Art History lessons for children in all of the Wissahickon School District elementary schools for children in Kindergarten through 5th grades, and in Wissahickon Middle School for children in 6th through 8th grades. She has also taught the AGTS classes at Meadowbrook School for children in all grade levels from Kindergarten to 6th grade. She was the Co-Chair for AGTS in Wissahickon School District from 2004-2005, and from 2014-2015. Dr. Felsenstein received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in August 2017 from the University of Minnesota. She has been a registered nurse (RN) for the past 30+ years, and a women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP) for the past 25+ years. She presently provides patient care as a nurse practitioner at St. Agnes Nurses Center in West Chester, PA. In addition, Dr. Felsenstein has been a Continuing Education Consultant for Lippincott Williams & Wilkins / Wolters Kluwer Health for 18 years. Elmer Pass History of Sports Elmer Pass, the Driver, is thrilled to be teaching a new Watermark University course. He is a graduate of Penn State University majoring in Business Management. In his spare time, Elmer enjoys playing basketball, softball and golf. He is an avid golfer and plays in a golf league. He and his wife own two cats that he will show pictures of until you're ready to pass out due to cuteness overload. Elmer will be sharing his passion for sports with the community in his Watermark University class, History of Sports. George Thomas Wood Work Shop George Thomas, Maintenance Director, is over the moon to be a part the Blue Bell Place team and the Watermark University faculty. George has a wife and two sons and loves putting smiles on peoples faces. His passion for helping others, specifically seniors, stems from his loving and nurturing grandmother who raised him as a child. George loves to play soccer and go fishing and is excited to be teaching Wood Work shop.

Jamie Sangalang, Community Life Associate, is a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) and graduate of Temple University with a B.S. in therapeutic recreation and clinical psychology. While she enjoys her busy schedule working here at Blue Bell and at her job in retail, she promotes the use of leisure time and recreation for a healthier overall well-being. She loves crafting, shopping, traveling, board games, and learning new things. Join Jamie in some new Watermark University courses she’s introducing this semester including Therapy Talk, Physiology of Strength Training, Wonder Women, and many other Watermark University favorites. Joanne Cueto Mahjong, Rummikub Joanne Cueto will be helping to teach some table top games alongside her granddaughter Jamie. She keeps her mind going by playing these fun games that require strategy. Kevin Goldfinger Uke Can Do It: Into to Ukulele Kevin Goldfinger, of George's Music, is a qualified music instructor with serious musical training and dedication to the ukulele. Kofi Korsah Wood Work Shop Kofi Korsah of the Maintenance Department will help in facilitating this semester's Wood Work Shop class. He has worked here at Blue Bell Place for over a year. You can find Kofi around the building helping our residents by fixing just about everything. Lisa Oberdoester Health Chat with Fox Lisa Oberdoester has been a member of the Fox Therapy team at Blue Bell Place for nine years. She has been a physical therapist for eighteen years and has her Masters in Physical Therapy from Temple University. She loves to share her passion for the health field by creating a round table discussion time where residents may feel comfortable asking questions about senior health. When Lisa is not working at Blue Bell, she loves spending time with her family.
NAME OF INSTRUCTOR CLASS NAME Liz Alecknavage Ceramics Liz Alecknavage became interested in working with clay as a child digging from an Ohio pond while visiting her grandparents. She earned a B.A. in Studio Art from Knox College in 1992 and has taught pottery to children and adults at the University City Arts League in Philadelphia. She now lives in Delaware County with her husband, son, and mother and brings ceramics classes to senior resident homes, church group, and children’s groups. She is delighted to be able to share this activity with the residents of Blue Bell Place. Mila Sangalang Spa Specials Mila Sangalang is an aesthetician at her own medical spa in East Norriton, just down the street! She specializes in skincare using clinical techniques such as microneedling, skin tightening, and laser treatments. Mila lives in Lansdale with her husband and wonderful daughter, Jamie. She enjoys interior decorating, finding a great bargain at the thrift shop, and of course spending time with her family. Maria Savaglio Donation Creations & Mind Games with Maria Maria Savaglio, Receptionist and HR Designee, is over the moon to be joining the Watermark University team!
