Summer Day Camps VOTED #1 CAMPS TALLEY DAY CAMP Held this summer for Sessions 1 to 4 at the Lincoln Recreation Center and Session 5 will be held at the Wm. Talley Recreation Center. This program will be available to children ages 5 to 12 (must be five by session start date). Each session will have a different theme in which most games, sports, arts and crafts, and special events will be centered around. Activities available each session will include games, sports, swimming (1 time per week), arts and craft activities, special events, off site trip (once per session), and many more indoor and outdoor activities. Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm *Late pickup fees - $3 per every 5 minutes parents are late per child. Payment will be Session IV – 8/5 to 8/16 – “Jump into Stem!” Multi-Sibling discount for session fees due upon arrival. Permission slips are also required for activities not held at the playground. Transportation is provided by Parks and Recreation bus for special activities not held at the playground. General Information: Free lunch will be provided each day, but children can bring their own lunch if desired and we encourage them to bring a snack and extra drinks if they participate all day. No refrigeration is provided. Playgrounds will open and remain open for light rain and will close if a storm arises or if rain is heavy (and we are unable to stay dry under the pavilions). We will attempt to reopen in the afternoon if rain closes us in the morning. Please make sure children are appropriately dressed for the weather. Parents/Guardians need to be aware of weather conditions throughout the day, so they can pick up or make other arrangements for their children in case of playground closings due to the weather. Summer Specialty Camps Space is limited for all camps and filled on a first come, first serve basis – so sign up early! Snapology is a truly customizable platform to engage children of all ages by using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) principles and fun. Our mission is to provide children an opportunity to engage in “playful learning” activities that will stimulate their creativity and spark an interest in learning.
