What is Raising the Roof? Raising the Roof provides national leadership on long-term solutions and prevention of homelessness through partnership and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, investment in local communities, and public education. We work towards a day when all Canadians have access to a safe and stable home with the support to achieve their potential. What is the Toque Campaign? Every year, the Toque Campaign reunites hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, and supporters across Canada to sell Raising the Roof toques to raise vital funds for people experiencing homelessness. The campaign launches the first week of December and leads up to Toque Tuesday (held on the first Tuesday in February), which sees a nationwide blitz of media and support. The Toque Campaign isn't just about selling toques, it's about raising awareness and much needed funds for our Partner Agencies.
