St. Julies Catholic High School Uniform Items All items of uniform must be clearly marked with your full name. The uniform includes the compulsory items below (available from agreed suppliers) Blazer French Navy woollen or nylon blazer with the St Julie’s badge Which must be worn to and from school Skirt Kilt in Holyrood Tartan (Holy Cross) Blouse All students must wear blouses in their year colour: Yr7 White, Yr8 Blue, Yr9 Green, Yr10 Lilac, Yr11 Gold Jumper French Navy, V necked Socks/Tights Navy Shoes Black or Navy polishable shoes (not canvas shoes or trainers) Scarf Plain navy Outdoor coat Navy School bag St Julie’s bag (only from an agreed supplier) Muslim students Headscarf may only wear plain navy, white or black hijab Uniform Policy You are expected to be neatly dressed in a clean school uniform at all times You may wear a wristwatch but no additional jewellery You may not wear earrings Facial and body piercings are not permitted at anytime in the interest of hygiene and safety You may not wear make-up, including fake tan and nail varnish You may not wear fake nails or false eyelashes in the interest of hygiene and safety Your hair must be neatly tied back in the interest of hygiene and safety You may not wear hair braids, hair beads or hair extensions and colour streaks in hair are also not permitted In the interest of safety you may not have hairstyles with excessive pins attached Mobile phones • In Year 7 to Year 11 you are not permitted to have a mobile phone visible in school • If you are found disobeying the rule the phone will be confiscated and will be held until 3:30pm each day • Persistent offenders will be required to meet with senior staff and parents (please turn over for PE Kit & Finance Arrangements)

PE Kit & Finance Arrangements PE Uniform Purchasing Arrangements The school is currently changing the arrangements for purchasing PE Uniform. The school website will be updated as soon as the relevant information is available, and an information sheet will be provided in due course. ParentPay Payments to School The school operates an online payment and communication system namely ‘ParentPay’, which enables you to pay for your daughter’s school meals, trips, etc. and allows the school to communicate with you via text messages and email. You will receive a username/password in due course in order for you to access the ParentPay system. If you wish to pay by cash you will need to use the Pay Point card facility within the ParentPay system. Please contact the Finance Department if you require this option once your username and password letter has been issued to you.
