What is an Academic Accommodation Plan?
An Academic Accommodation Plan is the document that informs professors and instructors about
the in-class and testing support they are to provide for the student. Academic Accommodation
Plans are prepared in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code. Academic Accommodation
Plans are developed by a counsellor in consultations with the student based upon documented
functional limitations indicated by an approved Regulated Health Professional. Students are
required to contact their counsellor to arrange any updates or changes. Academic Accommodation
Plans may apply to both in-class and placement components of a program.
