San-Diao-Jiao Lighthouse Host City New Taipei City situates in the northwestern part of Chinese Taipei. It has an estimated population of over 3.9 million and an area of 2052 km2. The climate of New Taipei City is as sub-tropical with seasonal monsoons with ample rainfall evenly distributed throughout the year. January is the coldest month of the year at average of 12.4。C, July is the hottest month with an average temperature of 33.6。C. As a city full filled with cultural, natural scenery and creative industry make New Taipei City abundant in tourism resource. We welcome you to participate in the 1st Asian University Badminton Championship in New Taipei City this year. 1

Departure Badminton Seminar Technical Regulations The competition shall be organized in accordance with the most recent technical regulation of the Badminton World Federation (BWF). In any dispute the English text shall be regarded as authoritative. There will only be singles and doubles categories for this championship. Individual Tournament There are five (5) categories: Men’s singles Women’s singles Men’s double Women’s double Mixed double a) Each country/region is allowed to enter one team which is composed of a maximum of six (6) athletes in each gender and three (3) officials b) Each country/region may enter athletes up to a maximum two (2) singles players in each singles category or two (2) pairs in each double category, on the condition that no competitor in more than two (2) categories. c) All team must be entered by NUSF 2
2. Eligibility All athletes must satisfy the following conditions: a) Be at least 17 and less than 28 years of age on January 1st in the year of event, that is to say the competitor should be born between January 1, 1992 and December 31, 2001. b) Be a student who is currently officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or diploma at a university or similar institute whose status is recognized by the appropriate academic authority of his/her country(region). c) Former students of the institutions mentioned in b) who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the year preceding the event. d) Must hold vaild passport of the country or region he/she represents. Registration Fee (be collected by AUSF) a) AUSF member: USD 10 per person b) Non-AUSF member: USD 20 per person Participation Fee (be collected by OC) USD 60 per person per day by each participating country or region. If each participating team registered more than 3 officials USD 120 per extra person per night will be charged by OC. *OC don’t have any responsibility for delegation who arrive before 16th September and/or depart after 21st September. IMPORTANT:Bank charges for the transfer of funds and banking operations are not included in the amount of the participation fee and will be charged from the participants additionally. Deadline for Entries 18th May 2019 General entry 18th June 2019 Quantitative entry Deposit of 25% participating fee 18th August 2019 Nomination/Individual entry Academic eligibility Travel information *Passport must have a validity of at least 6 months after the return trip. *Passport, original individual entry form and academic eligibility form should be brought to Chinese Taipei for accreditation purpose. Insurance AUSF and OC shall not be responsible for any claim or loss, injury or damage arising from the holding of this championship. All participating country/region must have their appropriate insurance to cover travel and participation as these are not the responsibility of OC and AUSF. Doping Control Doping control will be conducted during the competition according to the latest AUSF Anti-Doping Rules. If competitor is following a course of medical treatment, he/she must obtain the certification (TUE) to that effect and inform OC immediately upon arrival. Accommodation and Transportation A nearby cozy hotel will be designated by OC to accommodate not only officials/athletes but also AUSF CISCA delegates. Hotel information will be released at a later stage. As to the transportation, the organizing committee will take care of the local transportation between official entry point and the hotel. For training and competition session, shuttle bus service is provided between the hotel and the competition/training venue. Sponsorship KELME(CHINA) Co., Ltd will sponsor all participants with match uniforms, track suit and bags with the shipping cost and custom/tariff to be paid by delegation itself. Participants are required to wear the sponsored products for press conferences, media interviews, technical meeting, competitions, opening ceremony, closing ceremony and other activities on behalf of the team during the championship. Forms for the number/size should be submitted to AUSF secretariat before 18th June, 2019. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Players and Officials from the Teams which have their own sponsorship in relation with products same as or similar to the Contract Products are not obligated to this Contract. 5
Help Program The AUSF Help Program is formulated to provide financial support to AUSF members representing countries/regions with per capita USD 3,500 or less according to the latest figures provided by Work Bank (https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GDP.PCAP. CD?locations=Z4-8S-Z7) to enable them to send their student-athletes and/or officials to participate in the AUC. For 1st AUC Badminton, AUSF members/NUSFs for the Help Program should pay attention to the following timelines: -The application form should be submitted to AUSF before 18th June, 2019; -All forms will be evaluated from 18th June to 10 July, 2019; -NUSFs selected for the Help Programs should submit personal information of athletes (passport copies, pictures, academic eligibility forms, declarations, together with sports event participation proof) by 31st July, 2019; -Help program report from the participants/NUSFs must be submitted to AUSF within 1 month after the event.
