that Stanley had passed
away in his sleep on

funeral was held at Aldershot
Crematorium and his family were lucky
enough to give him a hero’s send off –
which was attended by some members
of the Yorkshire Regiment. We wanted
to dedicate this page to Stanley, to
commemorate his life and how he
served his country for many years.

Stanley was a veteran of the Normandy
landings in the Second World War and         Mr Taylor revisited Normandy three
