South Africa | Lesotho
Ride the Drakensberg and Lesotho Mountains in the north east of South Africa and
then head south to ride the world famous Garden Route with its beautiful mountain
passes, evergreen forests and coastal vistas

We start in Pretoria, South Africa
and make our way to the
Mountainous Kingdom of Lesotho.
Here we ride more turns within 80
km than any other road in Africa.
Next up we head back into South
Africa again and ride through Golden
Gate National Park and the mighty
Drakensberg Mountains.
We reach the Indian Ocean at East
London and the enjoy a world class
safari into Addo
Elephant National Park- spotting
Lions, Elephants, Rhino, leopard
and Buffalo.
We are now in the famous Garden
Route and we spend the next several days riding beautiful mountain passes, forest meanders and
desert roads . We spend a night at the mighty Storms River Mouth, ride to the Knsyna Heads, and
visit Ostriches in Oudtshoorn.
Next up we ride all the way to the Southern Most Point of Africa at Cape Agulhas and spend a
night on a wine farm in the Cape Winelands before riding 0ver 200km of amazing coastal roads all
the way into Cape Town.

DETAILED TOUR ITINERARY
Day 0: Arrive in South Africa- Bonus Night Vaal Dam where we have lunch at a historical
motorcycle museum. After lunch we ride through

Day 2: Pretoria To Clarens +- 400km

After a delicious breakfast we make our way
through South Africa's Orange countryside to
Clarens. This is a delightful ride. We stop in at the
beautiful town of Deneysville on the banks of the

Day 4: Clarens to Underberg (+-435km) Day 6: East London to Addo Elephant

Day 8: Addo to Tsitsikamma (+- 221 km)
Highlights Storms River Mouth
Today we follow the coastal route to the start of
the famous Garden Route. We ride into the
Tsitsikamma National Park and sleep in wooden
cabins overlooking Storms River Mouth. You will
have the whole afternoon free to explore this
beautiful National Park. Storms River is the start
of our famous “Otter Trail” and you can can walk
part of the hike down to the breathtaking Ostrich Hugs in Oudtshoorn
suspension bridges between the sea cliffs. Enjoy
Day 10: Rest Oudtshoorn (+- 0-200 km)

Caves and spectacular mountain passes
Today is a rest day- but there is so much to see and
do. We will have a guided tour of the Cango Caves
with its beautiful stalactites and stalacmites and a
tour of a working Ostrich farm- where you will get to
feed, touch and hug Ostriches. For those that would
like to do some more exciting dirt riding there will be
an optional ride over the famous Swartberg Pass, this
is a bucket list ride for Adventure Bikers the world
over. This Afternoon-relax and enjoy the warm Karoo
Hospitality that this area is known for. This evening
we will be treated to a traditional Ostrich Braai (BBQ)
Tsitsikamma Sunspension bridges
that will tantalize your taste buds.
Day 9: Tsitsikamma – Knsyna-
Oudtshoorn (+- 260 km)
Highlights: Exploring Knysna, Riding the Garden

Today we ride the world-famous Garden Route.
Our firsts top is the spectacular Bloukrans Gorge.
Bloukrans is home to the world Highest Bungee

ride into Knysna and marvel at the beautiful Swartberg Pass

Southern Most Tip Of Africa
Day 12: Cape Agulhas- Cape Winelands
(+-300km) Highlights: Ride the Cape Winelands,
Hermanus, Bettys Bay
Today we make our way to Cape Winelands. En-
Route we will stop in at Hermanus- the whale
watching capital of South Africa and also at Bettys
Bay where we will get up close to penguins living
on the beach. The Cape Winelands is a beautiful
landscape of vineyards, mountains and fruit
farms. The riding is also world class with some
exciting mountain passes. Tonight, we will sleep Cape Point Peninsula
in the heart of the winelands and enjoy some
local wine tasting. Day 14: End of tour (+- 0-50 km)
Sadly, your tour of South Africa has come to an
end. We guarantee that you will take home loads
of awesome photographs and fond memories of
South Africa the warm people you have met.
