MODZI ARTS GALLERY
Modzi Arts is a contemporary, conceptual art space that works with artists to develop and present new bodies of work in innovative ways. It
was established in 2016 with the vision of providing a space for knowledge exchange, experimenting, engagement and dialogue within the
visual arts sector in Zambia. The space has hosted exhibitions, residencies, artist presentations, talks and workshops.

The aim of the Modzi Arts Gallery is to provide a platform to grow the Zambian multidisciplinary and contemporary art scene to both local
and international audiences. The gallery has increased the visibility and accessibility of the arts within Zambia, while supporting the pro-
fessionalization of Zambian artists and the development of new curatorial approaches.

MODZI ARTS AT THE FAIR
Modzi Arts group exhibition is a combination of several elements that are unique, but not limited to a Zambian environment bringing a new
conversation around knowledge creation, our historical values and techniques. Through the exhibition Modzi Arts Gallery reflects on the
internal construction of ideas around Zambian myths, taboos and personal narratives. The exhibition features the works of five incredible
artists Aaron Samuel Mulenga, Agness Buya Yombwe, David ‘Daut’ Makala, Nomes Dee and Stary Mwaba.
