One Day with Linda, Kevin, Carol and Lester!

Linda and Lester walk to Thomas Tallis School. On their way they meet Carol and Kevin.
At school the children go to the classroom. Mrs Spencer shows flashcards with animals.
The children see a guinea pig, a cat, two dogs and mice. “My favourite animal is a lion”,
says Lester.
“I don’t like lions, my favourite animal is a rabbit!” says Kevin.
At the cafeteria the children talk about the flashcards again and eat lunch. Linda eats a
hamburger and drinks a coke. Carol eats a cheeseburger and drinks lemonade. The boys
eat a sandwich and drink lemonade, too.
“Let’s go to the park!” says Carol.
“Good idea”, Kevin and Linda say.
“Sorry, I can’t go to the park today. I must go home. It’s my sister’s birthday and I play the
guitar for her birthday song!” says Lester.
“Oh”, answer the children, “let’s meet at 3 o’clock at the lake”.
The boys and girls go to the classroom. Later Lester goes home and Kevin and the girls
ride their bikes to the park.
“Oh, look! There runs a man with a black and white dog, “Carol says. Kevin, Carol and
Linda swim to the island in the lake. “Don’t swim so fast!” Kevin says. On the island they
see a small brown rabbit. “Kevin, look, there’s your favourite animal!” cries Linda.
“Oh, that’s a nice rabbit and a great day!” says Kevin!
