Corsair Located on the seafront and protected by fortified walls, the ‘Corsair City’ of Saint-Malo shines with its authencity and its majestic private mansions. The city bloomed during the 12 th Century through the renown of its sailors and explorers such as Jacques Cartier, Robert Surcouf and Duguay-Trouin. To this day, the streets and alleyways of the city remain impregnated with the legacy of its founders.
